from what i gathered, fl is letting idella basically body double for her so she can move more freely without the constraints of being a saintess especially in the capital. idk why the author chose that plotline but idk the bodydouble is a good idea
I kinda can't wait how she's gonna show up and just declare she's saintess again
She literally mentioned playing a decoy bc the imperial family might be scheming something by inviting the saintess personally
yess they said that idella's [og FL] 'light' when she touched the statue that showed her divine powers wasn't saintess-bright this life only as bright as a high priest, bc the sun god made odelle [mc] the true saintess this time
the two women talked abt it as well when they first met in the capital bc odelle was given a warning abt enemies in the capital and to protect odelle or else she'll die so they all decided to make idella proxy saintess to protect odelle and to figure out who the enemy is! so assumedly, when the capital arc finishes odelle will go back to being saintess again
