Never thought I would say I wish this didn't have a sex scene. We've lost so much of the relationship development. It's so rushed and doesn't even look good. Literally zero sex appeal.

I haven't found anything good lately and I've been craving a good story. Can be yaoi or shounen-ai. I specifically want to read something where the main character (doesn't matter if he's a top or a bottom) is gay. I really hate the "straight turned gay" trope. The exception being a story that acknowledges bisexuality and/or comphet.

Sorry to sound very picky but I also don't want anything with unfair power dynamics. I don't like themes of debt or assault. I'm also not a big fan of angst and tragedy.

It's hard for me to find something these days that I haven't already read so if you can suggest something I have never seen then I will be very grateful!

Tldr: Recommend a story with already gay characters please! No SA.

I have read so much on this website for so many years, so newer uploads would probably be the best bet since I haven't read for the past year.

I took a long break because I was too tired of all the S/A themes in BL. This includes blackmail, coercion, and intoxication.

If you guys have any good recommendations for me
without R or S/A I would really appreciate it!

He goes to school and becomes like the best student, the elf is there too.
Someone attacks the school and kills off the students and MC saves them but the royals/elders want him to take the blame, so they accuse him. MC's family is hidden and MC escapes from prison. MC tells them the truth about him. MC's parents disowns(?) him. War happens. MC's dad dies coz MC will pick his elf over his old man. I stopped reading there :(
