And I don't think it would even occur to Shuraka that that might spike jealousy in Tei. Because he is the Padisha. To him, concubines are mere tools. Tools to learn things from etc.

Agree. I think the core of the story will revolve around how love can still prevail in an unfortunate environment (one-sided polygamy) between two very different cultures and two very different people.

I don't agree. Shuraka propably wasn't aware of his limitations until he tried it with Tei and realized that his inexperience causes pain to Tei. So he naturally got rid of his inexperience.

Not wanting to hurt Tei doesn't translate to him fcking another dude, it will basically mean he's betraying Tei even tho it was a common practice to sleep with concubines. Cheating tag was never a part of this story

And I believe this is what the story will revolve around. Shuraka hurting Tei and not understanding why because he believes he does everything he can to be a good husband and then some groveling when he realizes his actions and decisions where hurtful and the wrong approach.

I completely understand what you mean and this route would be pretty interesting to see. but i still think that shuraka did not touch the pink haired dude. He is someone who can't even fathom being wedded to anyone else but tei. Did we not see how he glared at tei when he insinuated that he should do that? from what i gather reading about shuraka, his personality is obsessive to the point where he would hate touching anyone else that is not tei. I am not going to say i am saying this because this is a BWAT story. i am simply saying it from my perspective of reading the story so far and gauging his personality! he is naive in some ways but he is still a king and had to earn his throne. he must have killed a few concubines before his mother said how wrong it was so he decided to keep them instead, never touching them.
Shuraka definitely learned something from that guy but i am 99.95% sure it was by watching him! (which is not as impossible as you would think, honestly!) and also memeqki pointed out! golden blood lethal! andddd did you see that the pink haired dude smirked when he said that to tei! that panel confirmed to me that he was just saying things in a way that would make tei misunderstand shuraka!!! EITHER WAY! i am excited to see how this pans out! thank you for your perspective also!!
