I love the art it’s super pretty, and the story is pretty original so I can appreciate that as well but I kinda agree with the comment of “let’s seduce my rival so he’s no longer a threat” idea is kinda stupid and it wasn’t like it was funny to watch or anything. I think the characters personalities had potential but ehhhh not enough depth for me, kinda only scratched the surface with Chanyeong’s short backstory

The story was amazing!!! I absolutely love their dynamic, I love the way they use the red thread theme and I’m excited for s3 but I also hate that authors keep using the amnesia/ memory loss trope I feel like I literally see it in every other story now. I just don’t like when a very original story randomly inserts a super overused trope that doesnt add to the story but takes away from it. However I do appreciate that they used this trope to give Kihoon his shine in the spotlight

But now I wanna re-watch it

Naoki’s dumb personality is actually super funny and made his character very endearing Yuki is also very sweet (also the coworkers were fake asf)

Bruh I hate when Seunghyun just does whatever he wants to Chaejun whether it be taking the initiative to help him overcome his insomnia or sleep with him because he claims he can’t ignore someone’s suffering but at the same time knows that he’s potentially playing with his feelings and hurting him and is just super flippant about their relationship I like them both but ts is so annoying like don’t act like you care and then completely start ignoring someone because you didn’t think through your own actions

Yall love to come on here screaming “It’s just fiction.” Okay but it’s based on hundreds of years of history and racial trauma and oppression that still exists and affects us to this day. No indigenous or black people would ever willingly be a slave to a white person post or pre-civil war. It’s okay to write about problematic themes sometimes but there’s a limit to what is okay and what is not okay like how the fuck is that not being made clear to some of yall?! And if you put problematic themes in your shit be prepared to get backlash and criticism if you wanna be insensitive, racist, and blatantly ignorant. There are ways to tackle problematic issues without the media itself becoming the issue and that’s what yall don’t understand.
