I’m not really impressed at the same time. I liked how healthy and sweet their relationship was
I used to read their story over and over again and it’s still one of my favorites tbh therapy game and secret could never beat this story. Also after so many years, I actually started considering what solution they could come up with to be together and since Chiharu has writers block, mayhaps he can write a continuation of the dragons tale since it has an open ending
Ofc I would’ve loved a longer story but it was still very cute and funny as a short story

Started this when I was like 22 or 23 now I’m 25 I’m so happy it ended so perfectly and beautifully!!!! 1000 STARS FROM ME!!! I always say I think an author really knows what they’re doing when we get to see fully fleshed out characters that have amazing depth and dimension, feel convincing, relatable, and we basically get to see a full 360 as far as their emotional range goes. I’m so glad we got to experience all the shades of the characters, their highs and lows and how they changed because of each other
I still absolutely love and adore Alta and Illweth. I love their bond and the love that grew between them. Watching how they helped each other to overcome the trauma and circumstances around them to discover themselves and their love for each other was always something that I really loved. But I’m gonna be honest I wasn’t fully satisfied with the ending just with the way it happened. Yes it was a happy ending they finally got to be together in peace in a distant land but I wanted to SEEEEE that journey!!! I wanted to see the freedom they experienced together and maybe see Illweth discover his memories on the journey there not conveniently by the end. (I also don’t like memory loss tropes but that’s another conversation)gimme some side stories man!! But I still love them I just think the ending could’ve been fleshed out better like the beginning!
Till the “if you take on a women’s role during your first sexual experience then you evolve into a women.” WHAT??? I’m sorry but I don’t like the implications of that at all.
I wanna feel happy but their relationship was on a downward spiral for like 80% of the story and the reconciliation arc is only like the last 20% of it (and Dan was literally miserable the entire time) it just feels like for all the suffering the characters (a.k.a Dan) experiences, the payoff just doesn’t seem worth what we had to go through. The reconciliation arc either needed to be longer or the suffering period shorter (I recommend shortening the suffering arc)
They’re so pure and beautiful and the character designs are my favorite!!!
P.s. Wanted to explicitly see Hime roughly getting his back blown out too but
Honestly ts don’t feel satisfying. Not the match, not the redemption, nothing. Junmin didn’t even suffer enough in the championship match. I appreciate and recognize Jaekyung’s gradual change (it’s more realistic to his character) however, we didn’t need to go through damn near 60 chapters of suffering and bullshit to get there couldn’t we have had (30 chapters of pain + 30 chapters of pleasure(the reconciliation and redemption) and idk another 30 of them just being happy?? Idk wtf Mingwa was on

This shit is way to frustrating I gotta peace out for now the premise is super interesting and so are the characters but the way their dynamic is written, I just can’t get into it and stay into it. I’m not seeing any dimension or character development the story is progressing but the characters themselves aren’t. Their relationship has become too problematic and not in an enjoyable way(might come back when the story is over if the reviews are good)
