I think the problem I have with this is that on the Season 1 finale, the author wrote, now that Dan left the fall from grace of the Seme can be greater... but, my issue is that Dan left for ALL the wrong reasons.

Like, bro think he is the problem, and not that mf who keeps being an absolute asshole to him and treats him like literal dirt.

Wait, is that an actual rape scene right in the middle of Chap8. Nooooooooooo, I was so into this. So many green flags, even with evil big brother vibe, I liked him.

I just told him, that I would keep liking him if he did not rape the MC, and suddenly BAAM rape scene.

I am so crushed.

Gosh... this was... bad??? but in like a fast food kinda bad?

Like, I kept hoping for the burger on the picture, but the burger that was served was not as nice, but also, fine enough that I did not stop eating?

So I guess, not that bad?

Idk, I just feel like this story had so much potential, and so many good ideas (too many), but because they are all so rushed, they don't land properly.

Like:

1. The manwha telling us Iri is a killer that murders pregnant omega was just so unbelivable that I burst out laughting. I guessed he was a secret agent right away.

2. The widow is too shallow of a character, and him trying to kill chick was a plot point that was too contrived and not really interesting? Also at the end, he changes his mind way too fast.

3. Iri being an agent is like... too stupid. It's jsut very inconsistent with the character. Like, to go back to the Widow, you would think he would trust Iri's judgement faster when Iri says the Chick is innocent... also, if he knew, what was all that talk about 'gettin Iri out?'. If it was a tactic to hide Iri's identity, that should be made clear to the reader at some point.

4. Anything the warden did left me puzzled. Like what?

5. Anything the lawyer did ALSO left me puzzled. EVEN more When you know the final twist.

6. Like many manwha every rape scene (And boy, there is many) is said to be consensual, even when consent is dubious AT BEST. Kinda tired of that trope. At this point I just accept it.

7. Chick plot point of hating all alpha is just empty.

8. 2089 was the most miss-managed character. Him being a spy made no sense. Also, he knew way too much, way too fast, that led to too many reveals ALL the TIME. and that made no sense. Also, he was not consistant in his goals, so the reveal was kinda dumb at the end.

HOWEVER, I will give it to this mahwa. It was very entertaining, and if I suspend my disbelief, I can SEE the story they were trying to write.

Ceasar being a woman is mentioned so many times guys T.T None of you readiung? Tho fair, it's hard when most of the characters are so hooooot

Still, it's crazy to me when I read the late chapters to remember Eunsung is actually a rapist... like, their first time is so deranged.... and never addressed again? In general rape and assault in this story is very weirdly interpreted.... like Eunsung is a good person/human/seme with no weird possessive or agressive strike in the most part for majority of this story... like he gets worried, but in this case Eunsung is like.... healthy?

But then when I re-read the earlier chapter during and after he rape Soohyun It's like a completely different human.

I wished the second time they had sex Soohyun actually topped, this would have made the power dynamics so interesting and made more of an equivalent after the assault/rape.

I think we can all agree that the previous artist gave a lot to this story, and made it much more smooth. I also agree that the character's personality completely changed and the new art does not fit.

However, to say as far as the new art style is disgusting is ridiculous. Some people are acting entitled to a free website.
