I kinda wanna set Ibelin on her. If anyone deserves that force of nayure, it’s her.

You can’t keep avoiding the character development forever. You gotta admit you’re emotionally attached sometime.

I don’t get why she’s sticking around. I get why people do it in real life (fear, self loathing, misplaced hope, etc), but that’s clearly not what’s going on here.

Actually, let me rephrase. I understand why pre-isekai Adriana stuck around. She had the same tragic motives as real people.

It’s post-isekai Adriana that pisses me off. Ken already offered help, she turned him down. The royal family owes her a debt of gratitude and could use their leverage over the Duchess is multiple ways to help her, and are smart enough to do it. And demon boy could literally take her to another realm where the Duchess cannot get to her.

And, to be honest, I don’t give two shits about the older brother. He can fend for himself as far as I’m concerned.

Go to the royal family for help, get engaged to the prince and then we can have conflict and drama between all the main characters for legitimate reasons instead of occasionally being dragged back to misery porn for the sake of a character we’ve never seen!

Gimme Ken and the second prince sniping at each other! Give me tense meetings between the second prince and Belgarde! Give me forbidden romance and secret moments between Adriana and Belgarde! Give me a disgraced duchess plotting revenge and being thwarted, hell, have her go to Maron House!

There’s so much potential here, but instead we have to endure an abuse plotline instead of anything actually interesting because the author apparently hasn’t realised that strong female characters should actually use the agency they fought for instead of doing nothing for the sake of a man who a, can look after himself, and b, may or may not turn out to be a bad guy.

Either knock it off with the misery porn, or have the Duchess beat the younger brother. One or the other.

Think about it, the other two members of the supporting female cast met their dudes all at the same time.

Who says it was willingly? She had magic controlling him. This woman beat the shit out of you on a regular basis and yet you can’t put two and two together?

How did this not occur to you as a possibility?

Sure, the author is probably gonna come out with some Jeanette style magic bullshit, but a 23 yr old from the real world should know what rape is.

(If it’s not magic bullshit, props to the author, but I don’t have high hopes.)

Because you know Aria would lose her damn mind. She talks tough, but we all knows she actually cares about her people.

I’m the first to argue that step family is full family, but his actual step-sister is dead or isekaied and he and our Ran spent less than a month together as children before the plot started.
Not to mention that from Ran’s perspective he’s been either her creation or Some Dude.
So I can’t shade Ran or the shippers.

However, I can shade Yus. He doesn’t know any of this. Why are you macking on your sister, bro?

I’m a great fan of ‘morons too stupid to realise they’re in love’, but I also appreciate ‘idiots too stupid to realise they’re friends’.

I don’t get what’s up with him. I mean, I’ve no reason not to take his word for it, but he does also seem to like like Chloe a fair bit. ╮(￣▽￣)╭ Maybe he’s just a bi guy with a strong preference for guys and adorbs boyish girls also happen to tickle his fancy. Either that or the artist keeps displaying brotherly affection wrong.

Eh, whatevs, Trigger’s a gem and deserves a happy ending no matter what it is.
