I dont really understand if FL has some distinct facial.feature that makes people call her ugly, or if they just mean normal ugly (as in plain jane nothing special). Because if her "ugly" face is so striking, how come so many characters have called her cute/pretty (and she is drawn normally)?
On the other hand, it's kinda hard to believe that the "ugly" nickname just stuck bc of the sisterbitch's bullying. The robert kid immediately called her ugly too.... so which is it ugh!
I was thinking the same thing. Like i understand she would think she was ugly If she was being compared to her sister her whole life but EVERYONE including people who have now met the sister treat her like she's the hunchback of notre dame
I never understand why authors/artists are afraid of making actual ugly characters. or at least have that be reflected/manifested in the story. otherwise it’s just a random title with no base to back it up. it would’ve been so interesting to see how the MC deals with that circumstance and is loved despite that. such a waste!!
