I almost pulled my hair out with how they dragged out the reveal/confession to each other. That was unnecessarily long! Too much push and pull, overthinking, jumping to conclusions and corny ass delays..
I dont really understand if FL has some distinct facial.feature that makes people call her ugly, or if they just mean normal ugly (as in plain jane nothing special). Because if her "ugly" face is so striking, how come so many characters have called her cute/pretty (and she is drawn normally)?
On the other hand, it's kinda hard to believe that the "ugly" nickname just stuck bc of the sisterbitch's bullying. The robert kid immediately called her ugly too.... so which is it ugh!
According to the novel, they get home and then some weird sexual tension moments lead to actual full blownsex! But like, at this point, they still barely know each other. Idk reading those chapters were steamy, but has no emotional payoff imo. I wouldve wished their situation became a bit clearer first
