i’m sorry that reasoning plus her doing what she did. uka nicer then me. also that girl did deserve that slap. her friends justifying it cause she’s gotten hate wasn’t a good reason. also once again this feels like a repeat arc of them confirming their feelings which if im being far this the first time we had an actual love rival who really didn’t have a history with either of them that was complex. i think the earlier love rival plot point was done better. if anything they should’ve introduced a boy who’d be interested in uka to show kai that he needs to be more expressive or somebody will take her.
no offense to the manhwa cause i really do think it captured a lot of the novel. however the og ml ending being this is so odd? like this feel so sad and even though is actions were because of the actions of the author? this feels like justification to give the our ml the ending he’s gotten when the novel handled this better. he moved on as well and got his happy ending and actually resolved his issues with his brother. i’m lowkey shocked, because i don’t mind our og fml and the og villainess being happy. i don’t mind the author getting her ending. his feels weird given who was the really villain.

there’s so much that is clearly meant to have happened. from the way the ML is acting it seems like he came back form 7 years in the future. however he makes references to her choices being die or sold off. which is odd because if it was just 7 years he regressed how would he know the options are both bad. so maybe he’s regressed more then once? either way i think that’s why he comes off as hyper calculating. he knows the price and he’s moving accordingly. however she, like us (the audience), clueless and trying to piece together what is going on. and if i’m being ultra charitable to her, she doesn’t even know about his comments about coming back or what that might mean. so i think ill give her a lot more grace and i’ll wait to see how he moves. it’s only been 10 chapters…there still so much more to see.
