the more we know about her mother and lyricia the more it shows both of them hadn’t healed from their previous traumas. lyricia being unable to say anything but loved her mother for all her faults is because she’s been always considered an after thought. easy to be abandoned unwanted in her own home. while her mother was a child bride and forced to be a wife out of the selfishness of others and left to take care of a child out of the envy of her husband over her beauty…it’s quite sad. they both are clear examples why this “second chance” is so important. i don’t blame either one for the way they react expecially her mother now. she literally had her childhood taken from her and her husband left her to live with his mistress. they both deserve so much happiness.
