i am genuinely displeased with the choice the author made for the ending. we spend so much time following ilay and taeui's relationship progress and when we finally feel like they can be better for each other... the author takes them back to square one.
this violent reaction proves ilay's distraught, he's borderline psychotic feelings for taeui. i get this. but didn't we already know? wasn't there any other way to portray this? idk, make ilay mass murder whoever was in on this.

love have mercy for what's about to come... this is my personal preference, since i toxically enjoy them together very much, i hope the next scene will be toned down from the one in the novel.
THE COMMUNICATION these 2 had... absolutely incredible. no misunderstanding lasted more than a few pages. doh joon is an example of trustworthy, caring, affectionate, loving, good communicator man. he should be considered a STANDARD in real life. i loved how his words seemed similar to director's lee. they both seemed to obsess over her, but in time their actions spoke louder than words. doh joon is completely head over heals in love, master of yearning, obsessed. true. despite all of this he'd NEVER do something the FL wouldn't want.
congratulations to lee dokyung. we saw her go from a pushover with an almost non-existent self esteem to turning into a woman that stands up to herself despite her complicated feelings and trauna, and finally contradicts her intrusive thoughts, rewiring her brain to not sabotage her anymore. she was written beautifully.
i loved this story, clearly. it has a depth few smut romances have. it's a story that i wished had more chapters, but not only for the romance ((tho i would've enjoyed a few navigating their actual relationship)). the author does a great job of writing cursive plotlines.
this is NOT me complaining, on the contrary. i enjoyed this story so much that i wish it would've been longer. amazing work, hopefully we will get more like this in the future.

i can't believe that the ML saying he gets a hard on was the most romantic thing i ever read. my favorite dialogue in all manhwas.
this was absolutely amazing. i loved that we had moments when we saw exactly what was going through his head and also that kwon sijin became so good at communicating. it made me realize that we can feel a certain way even if we know the other person will never do something like that.
it could've had a lot more plot. meet their families, find out what happened to the ex, seen the reactions of everyone finding out about their relationship and much more. but tbh their banter, sex and coming to terms with their feelings satisfied me completely. no unnecessary angst.
truly was a simple, fun read. the start is a little slow, but after you get into it... you are just in for a fun ride.
in my life i manifest to find a man as in love with me as sijin is with nayul. they suit each other well.
mincheol's love is so sweet. a love for the mundane aspects of someone: the habits, the farts, the unpleasent, awkward moments that feel so normal because you have love for that person. he knows all of her and he accepts and wants her exactly for what she is. haneul knows all of this, but she deserves to see him try his best, to grovel a little.
but jaheui won my heart. a twisted man who has his first innocent love and tries to become a person the girl he likes would like. unfortunately, he also realized that he won't have a chance and the way he came to terms with that is beautiful to me. never forced his feelings on her, just a man who wants to see her smile. it doesn't matter if he'll find someone else, jaehui isn't a lover boy, just watching his first love unfold is very beautiful to me.
Ikr! I loved how there was no drama with Jaehui. He came to terms with his feelings, gauged out Haneul's feelings, observed her relationship with Mincheol and then sidelined himself. He did everything so quietly. ヾ(☆▽☆)

almost finishing volume 2 and i am kind of annoyed by the fact that rio did nothing, except force himself on this poor kid. first volume was nice, but the second one? a mess. the second time in my 12 years of reading manga that i liked the second ML more. LOL
only thing rio did was helping him in that crowd after he lost the bracelet. other than this? did not confess first, did not apologize first, said absolutely nothing to him while he was sick. making this kid feel like he should apologize and go to him only because rio refused to say anything to him. rio acting all friendly with a girl, wraping his arm around her, but going crazy when someone touched or spoke a little more to the MC. all the MC (clearly i don't remember his name) did was act supportive against his darker emotions, but this plot made it seem as if he was acting as possessive as rio would've been better.

Right?! If I were ayato I would be really jealous too cause what do you mean by “i have plans” but then meeting other girl without telling where you would go. And also his interactions with the girl he is whispering with, I almost didn’t finish that chapter cause my heart is breaking for ayato. He lacks communication, he knows that ayato overthinks and would constantly keep it to himself but instead of communicating he sulks?! And ayato is the one who made the first move too for them to talk, damn I wanna smack his head off
