I don know why but this level toxicity is just perfect... I hate glorifying toxic relationships but I’m living for this manga because I love seeing the growth and development...ughh Yass

    What’s toxic about it?

    Yunity January 30, 2021 2:45 am

You do not see the physical abuse and emotional hurt? Let alone the toxic obsession that he has to claim him? This manga spells toxic and everyone else knows it.

I understand that the MC wants to protect Ain and show him love by being a good mother, but she forgets her duties as a wife. I know she can't read minds or whatever but would it really hurt her to try to get to know her husband on a personal level like she is doing with Ain? I wish she would be a mother and a wife and not just a mother because both the son and husband need attention and love.

    Ophelia June 18, 2020 4:14 am

I think that's an archaic way of thinking. A woman shouldn't attend the needs of man just because she is married to him. She doesn't love him so she probably is going to do that. Instead he really needs to work on his relationship with her because he fucked up his first impression. She doesn't know he needs love cause there is no communication. You can't love someone if the only idea you have of them is if they are a murder. Plus he hasn't been kind to her much. So yeah.

true, like why would she need to tend the duke? lol if i were her i'd be scared too

    Sooyona June 18, 2020 5:15 am

No, she doesn't have any duty toward him. Especially when they already agreed this is just a fake marriage.

    NocturnalSols June 18, 2020 12:05 pm

She didn't marry the Duke out of free will the original duchess did. So to expect her someone from our century to show love towards him is asking to much. In our society murder or torture is looked down very heavily. Theirs however not so much. And even from times like that alot of woman didn't love their partners. Yea they did the duties of a wife but mainly relationships from that type of time period was more business like then an actual relationship

Sorry for the confusion, I wasn't speaking about tending his needs as a person. I meant loving him as a wife would. I get that she got the wrong impression of him but it isn't like she doesn't know what kind of family it is. That's why she is trying to save Ain. I understand your point with the lack of communication that they have but that's because she always avoids him and won't give him the time to speak his peace. I feel as though she isn't giving him a chance based on his job(which isn't normal). She gives Ain the benefit of the doubt.

All I'm saying is that I just wish she'd give him a chance like she is giving to Ain. Also with that some love.

What I mean as a wife is just simple gestures of how was your day...

    NocturnalSols June 18, 2020 7:59 pm

I'm sorry I just don't see any woman from the 21st century ever giving a man like the Duke any sort of attention let alone a greeting. People can say they would be different and would do things differently but unless you have a sociopath or psychopath like mind no I don't see anyone being different. Plus the only times before he tried to get close was at the dinner table and again he only started that was he wanted to see how ain acted around the duchess up close not because he wanted to know her as a person. Again if this was real life those 2 would hardly ever see each other that place is massive. In reality when those 2 met it was at a social advent, he called for her in an office or it was time for a nightly endeavor. But because it's a book of course there gonna run into each other cause that's how the author wants it to go. I'm not completely hating on the Duke cause I can see he's actually trying but I can understand why the fl is so cautious of the Duke. So I can't hate the way she tries to avoid him. Because any normal human would.

Yunity June 12, 2020 11:47 am

I'm confusion....so he doesn't care about his son...BUT....
that doesn't make sense to me since he's done a lot for him....hmmm...make it make sense!!!

I need clarification ASAP...like that his baby...

Yunity June 10, 2020 3:22 am

That Ex is a real one...I loved that they still "love" each other in their own way to even help each other in times of need.

That's actual EX goals.

Yunity May 25, 2020 3:23 am

Thanks for translating this because I'm enjoying it very much too. I'm sure your English will get better, I'm just happy that your trying. (▰˘◡˘▰)

There is so much character development for Sang-woo in this chapter that it's mind blowing, even he is: http://www.mangago.me/read-manga/killing_stalking/mf/tr_chapter-27/pg-122/
He was literally shook the entire chapter.

We can confirm that he actually does care/ has feelings for Yoon Bum in this chapter because he was actually distressed when Yoon Bum almost died.

But Sang-woo's problem is that he doesn't know how to show that he cares or know how to show love. He clearly has a trauma that has made him the messed up person that he is today..aka his daddy. I hope he can try to become more sane and treat Yoon Bum better.

    Viira July 15, 2017 3:23 pm

No....thats not what we saw or learned here. His concern wasn't for Bum, it was for himself. This whole chapter was about his ow feelings. He only clings to Bum to make himself feel better. It made him feel more human and less like his father to treat Bum "kindly" so he tried to do that. But he snapped because he felt rejected. While drowning Bum he didn't even stop because he realized he was hurting Bum or cared about drowning him, he only stopped because he saw himself acting like his father and didn't like how that felt. He does NOT care about Bum. He only cares about himself.

    Yunity July 16, 2017 1:52 am

I totally see your perspective on this because of how he treated Bum in the past to now but why did he reassure Bum that it was okay, that he wasn't "dirty"? At first he blamed Bum about what happened then learned that was not the right course to deal with the situation. Since Bum "lashed out". I mean he could've killed Bum already like he did to all his past victims but for some reason he won't kill him, he always stops right before Bum will actually die.

We just learned in this chapter that he doesn't want to be like his father. If Sang-woo truly believed that he wouldn't have killed all those other people. I feel like there's a sense of care ( might be little) for Bum in his twisted head.

I feel like Bum is different for him... Again I get where your coming from but this how I see it(▰˘◡˘▰)

Bum is only different for him because he is so desperate for approval and easy to control. He doesn't try to run and just takes whatever Sangwoo throws at him. This chapter was super clear. He was trying to do and say what he thought Bum wanted to hear, which is why he was so pissed when it didn't work and he was rejected despite acting in a way he knew should have been correct to get what he wanted. He has displayed time and time again that he understands normal responses and ways to interact with people and that he can mimic it and play suitable roles. Sangwoo got desperate after seeing his own image overlap with his fathers. And he only saw this BECAUSE he overlaps Bum with his own mother. That is the only significance Bum holds to Sangwoo and the author has made it soooo clear. He starts to freak out and have so many mixed feelings because he goes back and forth seeing Bum as his mother. I don't know how else the author can make this clear...I think too many people here want to view this relationship with rose tinted goggles. This is not a bl story, this is a psychological thriller and horror tale about abuse. I know we want to believe Sangwoo can function normally and feel genuine care for Bum, but Sangwoo is literally, and the author has made this clear, unable to do this. He is not a healthy adult. He did not develop in a situation that allowed him to learn how to have the same feelings and emotions you and I experience. He literally can not. We need to stop trying to project onto his and read him as he is and like many people in this world are. There is not hope for Sangwoo.
