It feels like the MC is jealous of the baby...?

Obviously he's denying his own feelings, but it feels like he's not happy with the ML loving the baby. I'll keep reading but that's just a vibe I got lol

I saw someone literally saying that it was Kashima's fault for being shunned because "He must have done/said something to his classmates." Like wtf. Kashima is such a sweet guy, and he's a peacemaker. I'm sure he tried to calm the fight between his classmates but they might have said something to provoke a reaction out of him. It's also not unexpected for Kashims to hide his feelings when he has such a big complex about taking on all responsibilities. It feels like he wants to keep others away to prevent them being hurt, like the one dude literally called another person dumb for hanging out with Kashima??? Like wtf, that's not just shunning it's verbal bullying.

Again I think he might have responded to some of his classmates talking shit about Kashima's friends. He would tank insults towards himself but he wouldn't let his friends be insulted. And now the bullies are pressuring the entire class into ignoring Kashima. I hope he can accept help and start to rely on others more.

Anyways, I hope they can at least agree to be peaceful until the deadline ends. I have a feeling that someone wants them dead, so it would be better if they lived.

Like yeah his choice was stupid and shortsighted, but he did it because he's too loyal to Nain. Like the one female attendant whose always with Nain is loyal, but despite the truth being revealed she continued to serve without much reservation. On the other hand, Rue has literally given up everything for Nain. As a servant of Nain, he can't marry or leave to live his own life ever again, but he sticks by Nain regardless. And when the truth is revealed, he feels regret and guilt so deep he pushes himself towards the deep end to serve Nain forever.

Again, Rue is doing something stupid and shortsighted, but he's doing the only thing he can conceptualize to serve Nain. And it's heartbreaking for Nain to tell Rue that he's not allowed to die until Nain forgives him. Nain is so desperate to protect those around him that he's actually losing connections with others. Because Rue would sacrifice his life in a heartbeat, Nain has to push him away to ensure he doesn't do it. And Nain can only ever push others away, because the more attached he is, the more it hurts to lose them. Nain can't trust in Amon and the main priest guy, the guards and servants are a second away from being killed, and the people are so conditioned into accepting violence, that they have no problem dying for Amon and Nain. Then Amon does his best to have Nain become used to death, repeatedly traumatizing Nain and taking away those he gets close to.

I just feel bad for Nain and Rue ╥﹏╥

It's sad that many, if not all, servants really believe that love from their gods means they should embrace violence. Rue keeps on asking for punishment, because he believes that true forgiveness comes through violence. He psychologically needs to suffer physically to believe that Nain has forgiven him. This is why he's even willing to become a Lesha, because he wants Nain to give him attention and forgiveness.

The way Nain sees forgiveness is to give mercy, and he did so by forgiving Rue and telling him to keep on pretending because Nain doesn't want Rue to be punished for not following orders. But Rue sees that as being dismissed and thus not forgiven, and Rue wants Nain to be angry and to forgive him the only way Rue understands. By becoming a Lesha, Rue is going up the hierarchy to become an even more devoted servant who is willing to die for his gods - one of the biggest forms of violence and thus the biggest show of loyalty.

Of course Nain won't agree or like it, especially because Amon can now use Rue as a way to punish or hurt Nain. And Nain won't be able to stop it, and Rue won't fight it either. They need to change the entire system, but these poor people are stuck in a loop of violence.

Like the seme is definitely pushy and needs to follows boundaries better. But omg the uke doesn't do anything right either. Like I get he has a reasonable fear of being outed, that's not the problem here. The problem is that the uke doesn't even allow their relationship to exist in private. Yeah he's allowed to say that he doesn't want outsiders to know of their relationship, but in private he doesn't even show affection or care for his partner. It's so bad that outsiders think that the uke hates the seme, which like you don't have to act coldly to your lover, you can act neutral and enforce that boundary. Uke treats others with more care than his own lover, like he takes their recommendations, he's friendly, and focuses on them more. The seme wanted rings, the uke is allowed to wear his in private but he doesn't even do that - he literally hid it away. The seme gifts the uke a tie, the uke doesn't have to say it was a gift from a lover but he doesn't use it at all, and on top of that he actively takes another person's recommendation and buys a tie. The uke could just say, someone recommended this tie and I bought it - but he prefers to hide away a gift from his lover. The seme starts acting strangely, even deciding to go home on his own despite his previous insistence to go home together - he doesn't question this change much but that's okay. Uke sees a coworker hurting and helps her out, also okay. Uke then doesn't take the time to send a quick message of hey I'm late and helping someone, he just goes silent. Seme suddenly asks to break up, the uke doesn't question it. He doesn't ask why or if they can work things out - the uke makes up his own mind and says sure.

Like I would understand the uke more if they actually had a relationship in private, but they seem more like roommates with benefits. Not only that, but the fact that the uke is not willing to fight for the relationship just shows that he's not invested in it. The uke is always going to be ready to abandon the relationship, so why did he even agree to date the seme. Yeah the seme isn't perfect and he needs to also listen to what the uke wants, but the distance the uke keeps will never allow them to actually communicate.

And it's kind of funny that the uke doesn't like the seme being friendly with others. Like the seme and uke should be apart, because they should focus on themselves first. Clearly neither is built for a proper relationship. The seme has to be less clingy and has to learn to listen, because he can't communicate when he's focused on pleasing someone else to ease his own anxieties. The uke needs to confront his fears, and no I don't mean he should come out, but he should learn how to deal with his fears in a healthy way. He can't force any future lovers to hide their relationship even in private, that only breeds resentment.

The red head pissed me off lol

Like why are you expecting the amnesiac to remember things that he can't remember. Like yeah he was asshole, but also he asked you why did you get married, and you weren't honest but expected him to be honest...

Like of course he doesn't remember why you got married and you not being honest about it doesn't help. And the code, if it was made during the time that the black haired husband does not remember, of course he doesn't remember its meaning. I feel like this arc would have been great for the red head to be more honest and open with his feelings. Making the black haired guy a dick was just to justify the red head, cause if the black haired guy was even a bit kinder, ppl would hate the red head. Even when he got his memories back, the black haired guy is groveling while the red head is wallowing in self pity because he expects his husband to accommodate him in every situation even if the husband is physically unable to.

And yeah the black haired guy was an asshole too, but that goes without saying. He should have also communicated, but we all acknowledged that. What pisses me off is how the red hair guy is painted as fully correct when he's stubborn as hell and prefers to suffer than to be honest that he loves his husband.

As for clarification without major spoilers, this story surrounds 3 timelines. The first one is where Aeroc dies after being assaulted, and he wishes to make up his wrongs before he dies. Kloff lives on and raises his kids but struggles to raise them because they start questioning who their actual mother is. Kloff dies wanting to see Aeroc again. The second timeline is where Aeroc remembers the past, and he wants to make up his mistakes by helping Kloff get together with Raphael. Kloff doesn't remember the past but he does get flashbacks that he thinks are dreams. In the third timeline Kloff remembers the past and initially thinks he is in hell. However, he actually scares away Aeroc, who doesn't want to associate with Kloff anymore because of his rude behavior. Aeroc doesn't remember the past, but they do get close.


Spoilers.

So in the first timeline, Kloff's oldest child exposes what Kloff did to Aeroc. And Kloff is left alone at the end. In the 2nd timeline Aeroc tries his best to make up for his mistakes, but although Kloff does not marry Raphael, Raphael does marry Wolflake and lives a happy life. Sadly, Aeroc never gets to meet the children from the first timeline. In the third timeline, Kloff finally admits his feelings and stops being a dick to Aeroc. He's even willing to die because of their bond than to hurt Aeroc again. In this timeline Aeroc does not want kids, and so neither of them meet their kids. Kloff is haunted by the fact that he can't ever make it up to the original Aeroc and has to accept that they won't be seeing their kids to make it up to them as well.

Now there is an interesting what if story where Aeroc survives his assault from the first timeline. Kloff actually treats Aeroc better and Aeroc gets to meet their kids. They eventually move away and live a better life.

Hot take? I'm starting to dislike both Maxi and Riftan. I personally think Riftan has good intentions by taking responsibility for fucking up (cause no matter what anyone thinks, he did when he beat up her father because he's not as strong as he would like to believe he is), but also he is being dense and overbearing. Maxi is right in wanting to help but also it's true, what is she going to realistically be able to do? She still needs to refine her skills in politics and magic first, but she is not patient. I get both have traumas and whatever, but both are unreasonable in their own way that pisses me off lol

I truly believed in the uncle, but it seems he's trash as well because he didn't even give the MC a heads up.

Also, am I the only one thinking that the ML's alpha dad didn't cheat? Like the whole - "we both need to apologize" could be read in many ways. Since there is the whole pheromone thing going on, I had the thought of what if the ML was a result from a rut gone wrong? Maybe the dad did cheat, but the ML was treated dearly and it's just strange how the omega father doesn't seem bothered by the ML or possible cheating. Honestly I am mostly interested on what's going on there. While the alpha father seems to love his husband, I get the vibes that the omega father has never loved him. And both are really invested in making the family line more legitimate so them marrying out of interest is more likely. Which makes me think that maybe they agreed on the "affair" to get an omega child perhaps? It's just strange. Maybe the alpha father already had a lover? Or maybe he sought comfort from someone else because his husband didn't love or care for him. Maybe they did love each other and things changed after the affair?????

I beg that the author focuses on that part of the story, because I need to know what's up. They give the vibes of tragic lovers lol.
