The pain of losing her only friend and also getting blackmailed. It's also unbearably maddening that no one knew what happened/came to protect her. Even if it's for a plot convenience, it's so unacceptable ╥﹏╥

Yeah I agree going to see the villain was insanelyyyyy dumb and the fact that he took Pythos so easily like….????!! What. Bros a magical ancient being are you fr. But I guess it has led up here to this scene and eventually everyone figuring out what’s up and that she’s a ruitom. I’m not saying it’s great storytelling but so far I really enjoy this and I wanna see the evil duke get karma so bad so imma keep reading. I think it’s a really interesting premise and it’s cute seeing strangers become family. My only hope is that these silly make-no-sense plot decisions are kept to an absolute minimum.
There's potential. Execution could be better but the one thing that I think is unfortunate is the sex part (￣∇￣"). Story would be better without it

Like I feel like they do it every 10 chaps and it kinda make me uncomfortable because there's clearly an imbalance of power especially at the beginning. fucking and not holding hands or at the very most a .kiss no she needs to fuck him when she just came back from the most traumatizing and terrifying experiences u could through.
Idk maybe I'm naive but I would've liked it more if they were forced to hold hands or something in the beginning and then when they like each other they initiate physical contact and all the other shit couples do when they fall in love. Thought it would be cute.
