the fucking fuck is going on in chapter 14? I've been struggling to identify different characters since chapter 1 but I could at least identify ML since his speech bubbles are dark but none of his dialogue made sense. I feel a headache coming after reading this
lol the father isn't even the "I need you gone because you'd become my son's weakness" type which is already too controlling but if you squint real hard, you might see some paternal love in there....but nooooo this guy has to take it to the next step and sacrifice his son's happiness and autonomy for "the centre" whatever the fuck that means
we've been through a lot throughout this story so it feels weird to say this but at this point but chapter 141 was a hard read.
I hate the guy with the fury of a thousand suns but the way he found her was pretty smart and showed that despite being the dickhead he most certainly is, he did notice things about her while she was around. I still think he is just struggling with the loss of his property and that he doesn't know what love is to begin with but I'll give him that

I wonder if what I'm experiencing with this story is the same as what happened with Naruto. The premise of Naruto was Ninja with cool techniques, the second it dove too deep into the alien lore, it was too far from its original premise.
This story was enjoyable because of magic. Now that we're doing the whole angels bullshit, it's the "aliens from Naruto" all over again. Maybe it is the fate of supernatural/fantasy shows to eventually just scale up to a point that the original premise becomes too distant

It's clear as day that he's not an ordinary baby from the moment he's found. He has angel's blood in him. How come the arc dipping into his origin be a bullshit to you? It's important for his further development
Sure, i miss Eruki and his other friends at the academy. But it doesn't make this arc less important than the other. To say original promise feel distant when we're just tapping into MC's origin sounds ridiclous to me
