It gets kinda annoying when bl authors make strong ukes just because some people like them. I love strong, manly, brave ukes BUT I like when that characters has depth and some brain. This one is like, umm, strong woman representation in movies like Wonder Woman, Scarlett Johnson from Marvel movies.. If you ask directors Gal Gadot and other one is strong woman representation but NO!!! They have no depth. They are just a SHOW!! Anyway, just because seme has some trauma, just because they are enemies to lovers, and there are secrets and just because art is good and uke is brave, that doesn't mean this bl is really wonderful. That's like every three bls in five these days. AND NO, I AM NOT SAYING THIS ONE DESERVES HATE. NO. It is just I am bored with bl like this. Characters are so superficial and boring. My opinion. There is nothing wrong wrong with them but some people like me prefer strong and manly ukes, especially physically. But unfortunately just because people prefer this kinda bottom, that doesn't mean I can't tell a character has no depth. He is strong, save seme's ass but it is kinda too obvious and it gets boring, it is like strong woman representation in Wonder Woman.. Gal Gadot wasn't a good representation for me. I love this bl because it is cinematic, artistic and interesting. I am also impatient to know what is gonna happen from now on, but for the first time I believe flashbacks ain't unnecessary. I love every detail about this bl. My only wish is beibg started this bl once it is finished, too bad I couldn't wait.. Anyway. I hope Yuwon do best to heal and have some confidence.. I started this series bcz I watched the first part of a review of it which started with how well written the characters are etc (in TikTok) but it's honestly just ppl creating a bigger meaning to the plot. Atp I've gotten spoiled about what had happened in the past but it really is so underwhelmed after all that insane thing that happens. The series is obviously a fetisization with some "explaining" of why it happened so it could be more well liked... I get edgy works and stuff but honestly it gets to a point lol
Welp it's either cus they reviewed it way too early, back when the manhwa only had a few chapters, so nobody really knew where the plot was going. Thats why they were saying it'd become deep and meaningful or whatever. Only thing made him like a regular, normal human being was friendships with Seongmin.I remember something like Seongmin told Yuwon "don't depend on me too much" did he really say that, I don't know.. But maybe this is about it..
