I've been following this story since the high school arc, my very first ball and possibly first manhwa. and after the wedding I honestly thought it should've ended there. I still think that would've been a good ending, but I'm not exactly mad about this new season either.

First of all, let's be real: the author is probably milking the story because it's popular.

That said, if she was going to continue it, I think this is probably the best direction. It pushes both MCs to their limits.

Bom has always been a pushover, and Taesung was always there to protect him. This arc asks, "What if he couldn't?" Taesung has always been the overpowered boyfriend who could solve every problem, but now he's completely powerless against someone truly ruthless. At the same time, Bom keeps falling victim to manipulation like he always has, except this time the consequences are far more severe.

Disclaimer because I know this is controversial: I do **not** condone SA or abuse, and I was literally bawling my eyes out reading these chapters. I'm not saying Bom deserved any of it. I'm saying it's an effective writing choice because it creates strong emotions and forces real character development. CBAW has always balanced fluff with angst, but I never felt it fully explored the darker side of their relationship. For example, after in  high school arc, Bom was forced kissed because teasing was mad Bom rej him. Taesung's possessiveness was hinted at, and I always thought it'd be interesting if the author leaned into those darker emotions. like do you see the resemblance and foreshadowing from the first arc  to this arc??? 

So while I understand if people hate SA or angst and don't want to read it, I don't think that automatically makes this arc badly written. Psychological stories aren't for everyone, but I think this season is genuinely interesting and develops both characters in a way that feels more realistic.

My only criticism is that SA shouldn't just be shock value. The aftermath is what makes or breaks this arc. Don't rush it—show the effects on Bom little by little instead of resolving everything in a few chapters.

Also... I was SOBBING when Bom broke down after everything happened. I genuinely thought he was about to SH in the bathroom. Thank God he didn't. (Lowkey it would've made the story even darker, but he's too precious

I know the story revolves around the girl, and her twisted thoughts, and just because she’s a girl, doesn’t make any of those thoughts right. I repeat, just because she’s a girl, doesn’t make any of those thoughts/actions right. Just make her with a guy, and see how fucked up the whole thoughts and actions are.

And if you’re saying “this is just porn bruh chill tf out” I want you to fucking wash ur brain because the type of porn u goon to can affect your mind. Porn with healthy relationship is still better than porn with romantasized SA, unhealthy dynamics. It is WAY WORSE than it already is. It affects how you perceive real world topics like sexual assault on males, which is already so less aware.

Bro like the moment i saw the last panel of s1 i was jumping because hell yes that's what he's supposed to do??? This story, the dynamics, characters, background story and the foreshadowing keep getting me on the edge thinking when will he do anything crazy.

(And makes it so sure that he is very healthy in mental health now? The thought of him breaking even when he have uke’s love and therapy excites me.) plus The dad??? I still have A LOT to mention but anyways, I hope author take some psychological aspects into this story.

If u get what I mean want smt similar, try ‘the uncomfortable truth.’ It’s FUCKING GOODDDD but it’s way deeper and darker than this. Step bros theme, but no romance(but author say up to interpretation)

The fact that I can’t even stop reading because of how good that seme’s character is. Yes, he’s so fucking annoying, manipulative, and fucking piece of shit but thats why it’s so good. To the point where even the dumbass audience also gets swayed by him.(if the audience that’s behind the fourth wall is like this already, imagine the ikr, the victim of the actual manipulation.)
Thaf seme is good, and story is captivating if u read this story as a psychological story. Not fucking PORN, or heck even boys love. This is not love or even sexy smut. It’s a fucking shame that instead of progressing with the story and exploring the depths of the characters, the fucking author decided to make this a boys love with smut focused. It’s really a waste of a good character like that seme.(again, NOT his behaviours but him as a character.)

The emotions and expressions of the Characters were portrayed really well. But the actuons werent adapted well enough. It seems like it was rushed. In the novel, you cannot see the expressions of the characters but you know how they feel from their actions. In webtoon, its kore focused on the words and narration of dokja, not really from the words.
I’ll be honest, i’m a petty little joongdok fan. I was irritated at the fact that it was rushed. The meaning of the fate was left more blur in novel. Yjh crouching down and holding kdj and screaming his name. Well, they did put those scenes in webtoon, but shouldnt it be more detailed?

Maybe because i already knew what was going to happen, my heart didnt beat like crazy like it did with novel,(wven though i was still anxious on my 3rd novel reread)
