I've read the novel and have been marinating the manhwa since chap 43 last year. Where are we in the novel now?

If you are talking about "the other childhood" arc then no. We are basically one third in the story. I belive we are about to start the mermaid arc

They are skipping some things from the novel. Making Taehee's childhood a side story it's unfair but things are moving quickly. My guess is that they will try to cover the major arcs and the rest they will summarize it. If there are not breaks I suspect this will take us more than a year to finish.

Well then this pice should have a tag or something. While is true that this a beautiful work it is also a very sad and painful one. It's full of trauma in both sides. It has it's happy moments here and there but I say this is mostly about pain resilience and reflection. They overcome it....at the end.

Ironically, the most beautiful stories often contain moments of sorrow and heartache. I’m a bit of a coward, so I did skip a few previous chapters. However, I’m happy to hear that they were able to overcome the sadness and hardships that had been following them.

Right? I read a lot and I have only couple that I will go ahead and actually invest time and read the novel. This one is one of them. Beautiful message using heavy and realistic topics and not just entertainment.

uhm a 10/10. rensley was kidnapped by his half brother and was tortured (in a sense of awakening his magical abilities or smth like that). it was so fucking painful too read that i skipped a few chapters

i feel like this pacing is my style in a lot of stories the romance feels very fast but this is more of realistic. or maybe i just love slow burn

I like it in a sense that it s well written and it's not boring, so you barely miss the romance. However, I need a little more in that area. I know it sounds contradictory but I would like more moments where they share a little more. I love that the piece its not centered on love but I dont know just a little wouldn't hurt me ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶

Ahaah so this story is full of misunderstanding. It can be so frustrating but I think it fun and read until the end ! They are so cute

Basically, the MLs enemy is himself. He doesn’t reveal that he is the master until the end. Learning that the emperor is targeting Judith, ML decides to support his half brother completely and reveals the truth of his birth and just as good mother prophesied he kills the emperor. But way before deciding to assassinate the emperor, Judith confesses her feelings to the master and they spend a night together while Judith blind folds herself saying she still wait until the master is comfortable revealing his face. So Ekian leaves a heartfelt letter saying he will come back for her, as he did not want to reveal that he is going to kill his father as he was cursed to do. Although Ekian doesn’t reveal the assassination plan, Judith manages to guess it based on baggies prices of information. She focuses on helping Melanie, the crown princess to detoxify CP and end up learning that she is nots truly pregnant. Initially she plans to start put until Ekian comes, but she feels guilty about staying as the young duchess while being pregnant with another man’s child and so she expedited the divorce process with Isabella’s help who was also disappointed with her son, who left suddenly on CPs orders without explanation. Only the CP and his wife knew that Ekian went to kill the emperor. While preparing to leave the duchy after divorce, Judith learns that her mother’s lover Jess trying to kill her and comes to an inference that it must be on the emperor’s orders and decides to escape quietly after informing Ben and Isabella. She goes to the ruined temple, where the priestess teleports her to the border away from the empire where a remnant of her tribe lives.

The misunderstandings aren’t as annoying as with the other stories in similar tripe and honestly the FL makes pretty rational decisions, given her situation.

I just came from reading the novel. There is definitely good happy parts but there’s a lot more misunderstanding, yearning and angst. Right now theres just heartbreaking sadness followed by a small bittersweet beam of hope. Idk how much spoilers you want but yea basically a lot of unreversible damage is done and the timeline does reset itself but not in the usual “main character is reincarnated with all their memories and abilities and a perfect plan to fix everything.” Kind of way. A happy ending is probably not going to happen so easily but I’m hoping it ends up that way. With the comic being so new, you’ll probably have to endure ALOT of angst but it’s still good.

Last thing I heard is that both die, he then gets reincarnated or something into a pet wolf. But they also said that novel is not finish yet and there is the possibility that they may end up together as humans humans.... or so. This is going to be so weird if he stays as a wolf . If I didnt know the it would be cute, but if he was a romantic interest then... Idk.

imo this man has more Lust than love for the empress. He doesn't really care about anyone else unless he can benefit from them. In general princesses are less valuable than a prince.

Uhhhhhh...... they are in a game of chess relationship. Medea is only with him to protect those she loves. Eros is with her because he "loves" her, ya know, as much as a psychopath can love someone.
