After reading the spoilers site, this is what i found:
Firstly, the duke (Iris's father) is actually very successful, he revived the duchy in the past. Now, he's just way too dumb, it's unbelievable. Even after ppl tell him the truth abt his daughter, he still doesn't believe them and acts all oblivion. Nera got her red hair from her real fam and doesn't resemble Rose foreste and the duke at all, but this duke doesn't even see it.
Secondly, after Iris and Ian's marriage, Nera is still the duke's daughter. Only at that marriage ceremony did the duke realize that Iris is his true daughter and regretted for not being a better father for her.
Thirdly, Iris parents, duke and Rose Foreste married other ppl bcuz of some danger(?) still not told. Some say that the current duchess threatened that she will kill Rose's best friend(current Iris adopted father) if Rose marries the duke. Thus, she married her best friend. AND, the duke didn't bother to look for his true love and just went ahead to marry the current duchess. No one said anything abt him being forced or whatsoever, so still not told.
Fourth, Nera later gets engaged with Howard whilst Gionni/Gianni is kept as her lover. She said it's a must since she's now the daughter of the duke. Supposedly, it's been months since she had the baby, so she should have a hump but the author didn't mention that yet. If the author didn't include that, it sure is gonna be a BIG plothole.
There were talks abt Nera reading a cosmetic book abt how to change her eye color and that's how she got those red eyes.

And btw, i'm dropping this. The author is dragging this story way too long, from Iris being a reincarnator to her fam's twisted history and to politics of the empress and to her btrother's disappearance and so much more. Princess Sophia turned into a slave overnight cuz of a rebellion caused by the civilians and Prince Jax/ml. ML brought Sophia/ fl to north as a slave to protect her from getting executed(just my suspicions). It was a will from his late father to protect fl.

As usual, he's actually a good guy. From the hints that've been left behind by the author, it seems he's trying to outwardly express his loyalty to the current king but is actually waiting for the right time to attack him.(shown from the chess pieces)
My guess is that the death of the late king was not ml's fault rather staged by the uncle/ current regent king. So, he's trying to protect his brothers whilst also bringing this king down.ლ(´ڡ`ლ) And, it seems he's falling in love with fl by day.
3rd Prince/Cecil
They all love the late king but it was depicted that the crown prince/ ml actually burned the castle his father/king resided in. Thus, made the 3rd prince believe that ml is actually in cahoots with their uncle, which is currently the king regent/ the evil guy. That is why, the 3rd is actually trying his best to compete over the throne, hoping ml won't get it.
2nd Prince/Luca
The most easily riled up and reckless. He's a follower of ML, no power struggles here.
4th Prince/Darcy
The frail, sickly, gentle prince. He is the most neutral amongst them. He doesn't seem interested in their conflicts. Hence, always calm.
5th Prince/Harry
The youngest, naughtiest and loves to prank the palace staff especially fl. He hates everyone in the palace except ml.
FL/Princess Sophia
An intelligent and cautious person. To top it all, she's also a beauty. As a princess, she was arrogant and ignorant. Now, as a slave, she just wants to do her best to protect her lost kingdom although no one of the west like her. To do that, she's siding with the 3rd and also helps him in his schemes to take down the ml. Fyi, she hates the ml for taking everything away from her. （￣へ￣）
It's just a mess. Misunderstandings in novels, comics, dramas always take a long time to be resolved and this just had to have a lot of conflict and politic in it too. I think i'm giving up on this#－.－)But i love the drawings tho.
Most this typical manhua always torture fl for a long time beforw finally reach her goal.. but i havent seen any of them succeed.. most of them have hundreds ch or just discontinued..

I'm a total freak for strong fl's, great plots and mostly isekai stories. BUT this one struck me in a bad way. FIRST day of isekai, FIRST encounter, FIRST time meeting and they're already making love?!?!? Plus, she just came there but didnt panic and she took the token that the butler gave her like it was natural?! Hell no, tho i like the boys but *** on the first chap? Unacceptable ヽ(`Д´)ﾉ i wanna see characters development but what is this? Some might like this, but IM definetely dropping this. Dont take this against me, im just saying my opinion(⌒▽⌒) In contrast, i recommend Cheating Men Must Die more than ever!

I'm undoubtedly lost.. I can't understand what she's trying to do. Ofc, they're going thru a trial cuz of jeremy. But why is she bringing up the story abt her marriage. What would cancelling the marriage even do? Will it help Jeremy in any way? And what is the battle of honor? Plus, what's with the letters that is shown as evidence (?) there? I dont understand the contents despite reading it countless times
I’m a bit lost as well, but I do know, if she cancels her marriage that will automatically make Jeremy the head of their family and the court won’t be able to give him a heavy sentence like chopping off his hand. Battle of honor might have to do with either the grandma showing up or calling this “show down” a battle of protecting honor. The letters can prove that shuli’s original evidence is correct and not forged. How I’m lost is that I can’t exactly connect everything to make sense? And I may be wrong, I didn’t double check.
She's trying to give the position of head of the household to Jeremy by calling her marriage to the duke into question. I don't think we know what the evidence is of yet.
I think the battle of honor is a fallback plan if her plan doesn't succeed, that knight guy with her will have to defend the family's honor in a fight as their representative.

The moment Jeremy gains the title. Of head of family(shuli giving up her seat), he is entitled a battle of honour, which in traditional sense, was a battle that allowed a convicted person to pardon himself of a crime by fighting
As for the letters, they're more to provd that the marriage was for political reasons instead of love, as the cardinal disallows divorced(based on history), it's wgy they were enraged when schuli t ried to call the engagement off
