MC has lived 2 lives, one as an a modern day streamer and the next as a fantasy princess who's had it rough all her life. She died being a puppet empress, and after some strange shenanigans in heaven and a talk with god she gets reborn into her second life again - but this time with perks.

This is peak indulgment. There are ton of pages just filled with her being spoiled and showered with sweets and desserts. At first it's alright and cute, but it just does NOT STOP. PLEASE MY SANITY. By chapter 10 or so I started skipping dialogue that just went on and on about how precious she is. I have yet to understand the title too, I was looking forward to gambling but I'm just getting abused uwu baby turns into loved OP uwu baby with a live chat.

I'm surprised she's not getting fat from all these sweets.
Also, it's so depressing that she had to take on her cuter older sister's body to be considered worthy of affection. Something about that just feels weird, especially when she just accepted that and used it to her advantage asap.

Anyway, that's as far as I can comment. There's still not that many chapters out. Thank god that there's opposition against MC and stuff she has to overcome with more than just cuteness. That and a few other aspects been kinda carrying my interst in the story.

MC is the villainess, aka the (ex)fiance of the ML, who falls for the pure saintess aka the FL of the og novel.
Classic trope with a pinch of cliche "I have his child and ran away" mixed into it. Only that in this isekai version the ML actually really loves MC and doesn't care for the saintess.
It COULD be far worse, but honestly it doesn't have much beyond the yandere twist to the ML. The story's predictable, very predictable and I taste the 3 slightly diverging pathways it could take from a mile across.
Our MC's thought process is limited to: "I'll be thrown away bc saintess supreme or whatever, so let's fret until everyone's rolling their eyes" - with the occasional small hope that gets thrown out the window in 0.2 seconds upon impact. Please, it's time to STOP. I am so TIRED of this CLICHE to build this FRAGILE EXCUSE of a plotline.
Even after a 6 year time skip, without hearing anything about their marriage, she is still like "uwu, I still have feelings but I need to get away from him", without any justification.
You may very well be able to enjoy this for endulgence, but man this woman makes it so hard sometimes. No wonder ML's insane, man.

MC saw a brief glimpse of the apocalypse set to take place in 20 or so years, in a future where there is no hero to safe the day. Turns out she is supposed to be the mom of that hero, and make a kid with the Monster duke, her soulmate. At least that's what the crazy witch who gave MC this future vision is telling her.
MC proceeds to doubt a bit but marries him anyway (easily at that).
It's the same vibe as when you're spamming romance interactions with your sims just to see them make kids ASAP.

So far MC gives wholesome dumbass vibes and the plot is taking its time for now. Let's wait and see.

Is it just me or is chapter 11 partially missing?

MC is reincarnated into a romance novel with the typical "blessed maiden from another world falls for the Emporer, kicks off the evil fiance, and fights evil"-plot. SHE is born as the 2nd ML, who turns out to actually be a woman in disguise.

First of all. I like that MC isn't all over the novel plot. She worries reasonably and has yet to fall into that annoying pattern of overthinking everything because it's like this or that in the novel. Her body morphing through magic also makes it more believable for her to pass as male, normally the female MC just puts on pants, short hair, and boom job done.
It's refreshing to not be stuck in the child POV for like 30+ chapters for once. The story gets done with what it needs to convey and moves on.
The pacing is tight, but a bit too tight too.
Some things just went and left without enough explanation sometime. For example, I was left with confusion when they clearly show the Prince not liking "the witch" (his fiance basically, forgot the name), but after one sentence and whatever many years later they're bickering like true friends, without really showing their relationship progress. The story's weak when it comes to characterization in general. The only ones with a strong character are the og bad boys lol.

Anyway, there is also this potential of the whole "omg no homo, thank god" narrative. But I personally hope that they'll play up the "idc about your gender, I love YOU" perspective, that'd be better than tasteless homophobic messaging. And even though Enok is lowkey nuts, I hope he's the ML, at least he admires her while knowing she's a woman. That'd be more comfy for sure.

MC is a mysterious woman with the ability to tell lies and thruths apart. Additionally good luck seems to pile onto her like crazy before something bad is going to happen soon, which is an interesting mechanic. Anyway, MC is a professional gambler who traveled around and made a name for herself sweeping casinos. One day, she rescues a boy from trouble and takes him home. They become close, bond and go gambling together. But after her ring, which she recieved from a dummy mage, flares up, she ends up 10 years in the future without the kid.. or even her house.

So, the thing with the whole gambling pov is that you get a thrill because of the uncertainty of whether the MC will win or not - the higher the stakes the higher the enjoyment for those reading - but this MC wins almost every time, and when she doesn't? It's on purpose or just doesn't affect her much. If she doesn't care, why would you?
The story itself is kinda cliche. Stuff is constantly happening (mainly gambling, people cheating while gambling, just bad ppl getting in the way or fluff scenes with male main leads), but the thing that keeps you reading takes its sweet sweet time. The thing I am refering to is MC's dumba** realizing that the kid she took in before her time skip is mortal, able to age, and looks literally the same as the duke dude who's getting close to her now. The story lost its focus somwhere within the whole cruise ship "arc". It's clear that finding him is important to MC and she thinks about this lost chance more than a few times, but the fact that the author themselves avoids it so much to get more chapters out of it, just makes the plot TIRING and EMPTY in the end. I skipped right from FL's first visit to the Duke's (btw her outfit in that chapter is horrid, just to add extra salt) to like chapter 50-something. That's like 30+ chapters and she still has no clue.
I'm dropping this.

The first few chapters are entertaining but MC's whole act gets tiring fast, like not even 8 chapters fast for me. I had to choke myself to get past chapter 10. IT IS fun in the beginning - and it got me chuckling here and there - but after a while you get used to the gag and realize that behind the "I changed completely overnight and now everyone's shocked and crushing for me (even more)"-trope, there's literally nothing but a faint breeze of flatness. It's hard to get attached to a story like this when literally every character has the depth and emotional sensitivity of an expired & flat discount coke. After the first bit it's like an inner war in which by the time another joke bomb is released, boredom has already invaded the base and you feel yourself losing consciousness.

If you think too much about it, you get tired of the plot fast. Honestly, the writer(s?) could've left out the whole thing about her possessing the villainess of a novel and it would still be the same story. At first you assume this is about more than just FL, but this story is pretty much just a power fantasy where you're meant to put yourself in her shoes to slay and enjoy the vibes. It's not a vibe for everyone, and certainly not for me. The whole thing about the ex being the ML also turns me off. It's refreshing to a FL who doesn't blush or think about her main love interest asap, but their whole dynamic is so predictable, and their chemistry is the equivalant of filtered still water.

Camellia, the bastard daughter of a Marquis, is forced to take on the role of the younger bastard *son* by the marquess, the wife. She is basically live insurance to protect the family's stability until her brother can recover from his illess.
You know the drill, the wife is bitter as hell- but at least Lia is able to grow up with care thanks to the Marquis, her brother and the servants being fond of her. Not to mention all these dudes with a high rank that lowkey thirst after what they think is a girly looking him, "Cammelius".
Anyway, I really love the story so far. I really want Lia is come into her own and find her mom.

But MAN, I don't like that Claude is the main lead. He was such an ass in the beginning, and lowkey I'm disgusted how Lia is blushing over him because he is nice to her here and there, when he's a cold stone slab to everyone and everything any other time. Have you seen how he treats his fiance?? He is just glaring down on her like a mad dog bc she tries to establish a good relationship with him. Maybe I'm being too realistic here but that's a red flag. It's just ASKING for another salty ex faince villainess scenario where she beats down on Lia for stealing her mans or whatever. When I saw that banquet scene it felt like I was looking into the future already. Please tell me I'm wrong, I hope I am..
Fr Claude isn't any different from the princes. None of them really seem to care about her as a person or what she is going through. Giving her candy bc she likes it is WEAK, sorry not sorry.
I'm just here to see Lia get to a point in life where she can be happy, all these dudes can go back to their palaces for all I care.

God I NEED more chapters. The first chapter hooked me so good and it just kept getting better.

Remilia is the destined OP villainess of an Otome game. Strangely enough a reincarnator possessed her body from childhood on, letting her take a backseat within their shared conscience. She witnisses how Emi, the reincarnator, works hard and with a pure heart to give Remilia a happy ending. Of course, Remilia learned to love and appreciate Emi for her efforts, but when the classic condemnation event still takes place (due to the most hateful otome FL I've ever seen, holy shit I hate her so much) Emi takes control of her body again. The only thing she is out for now is to take revenge while doing her best to preserve Emi's efforts and memories.

I can't stop praising the premise, man. This isn't just a fresh breeze in the reincarnation genre, this is like using the inhaler after choking for 5 straight minutes. I can't describe how bitter I felt when that condemnation scene hit, after you were told exactly how Emi tried her damnest to make all these people's lives better. The art is so fitting too, and don't get me started on the pacing of it all. Ok tbh, the beginning with all the exposition can feel a little long, BUT it's totally worth it.
Also, sometimes you gotta appreciate an antagonist you can unapologetically hate with all your heart and no take backsies.

It's a fun read, there's also some genuine plot though it doesn't feel all that deep. I like how some typical shoujo story holes, for example, the recurring backdrawer that keeps on leading the reader to the question of: "so, why do they remember this one story so well but not themselves?", kind of get an explanation here.
I first found it jarring to have these kids act like almost-adults, but thanks to the lighthearted tone of it all I grew into it + there's actually an explanation for their behaviour.
And I do kinda have to agree with other comments, the queerbaiting is there and all, and a yandere game protag crushing on our MC for little to nothing is also a bit over the top. Thanks to the comedic tone it thankfully doesn't feel all that deep, but it still lowkey makes my eyes roll to see the prince have these genuine scenes, careful thoughts and so on about our MC, while the female love interest is played up as a crazy nut used for entertainment purposes. Smh.

Honestly, so far it's very good for a harem type reincarnation story. The translations are mid. If you're shoujo harem trash like me you'll have a lot more fun with the story on another site with better translations (mangadex for example).
The lore in the story itself is also not bad. Really like the idea of holy guardian type dragons that basically work for god type of setup. Though I do not understand how the hell this whole descendant thing works for the guys of the church. (I guess this is a spoiler if you haven't read this yet, but honestly this kind of stuff is very on the nose in shoujo isekai, so let's not act like it's a real spoiler)
How come the Duke's family and the Imperial bloodline inherit their dragon ancestor's characteristics, but with the church it's like "whoever has the biggest holy magic dick works." Eh? Maybe it's still gonna be brought up or I misunderstood something, but for now that's a plot hole in my book.
Adding onto that a few cliches in this type of shoujo, such as the famous: "I met this important character during their childhood days, or before the novel began, and made an important impact in their life, so later we have a base to build a relationship on"- but this time around it's literally all the important characters, aka FL's entire harem. That's just one of the typical tropes I was kinda well-well about. Honestly, I'm just thankful that FL isn't a total Mary Sue. Well, she at least doesn't feel like one because you always see her struggling, injured and anxious about her sister.

Far from horrible for an isekai shoujo, better translations would really help here and there. Overall this is mid, imo. Doesn't do anything super special, but you can enjoy it if you're into the genre (like me).
Time to nitpick: FL kind of feels like a dick for emotionally manipulating the people around her at times. Especially with Evan it doesn't feel right when she goes "welp, time to gaslight my 13 year old husband", you know what I mean? I hate that about a lot of this kind of shoujo material. FL gets to see more and more how the Duke and ML actually care for her, but she still prepares to get away from there like she's blind to the affection she's given... She even ackowledges that the scenario or legit becoming a part of their family without being disposed of is possible, but throws it away and never thinks about it again- or at least for now. Why is she so numb to their affection at times? She is invested in their lives and all, but when they do a good or genuinely sweet thing for her, it's like she's programmed to think that it's anything but their genuine consideration for her... wasn't she an affection starved orphan in her last life? Where did all of that characterization go? Another thing to nitpick btw: Her previous life's experiences and personality traits are washed (besides the novel info she needs ig) away to make space for a character more girls can relate to. It happens a lot in isekai, but for some reason in this instance it actually annoys me.

First you think the premise is good. Like, FL is the daughter of a villainess hated by a lot of people and has to live with that reputation. Ofc, she has memories of her past life, where she read the novel which tells the story of the main power couple and their kids. With these kind of stories you normally look forward to a lot of salt being given out, but honestly it's just FL being a punching bag for a few chapters and then turning into a sensitive flower that refuses to the least bit of brutality or revenge. By the time I was at chapter 17/18, I was rolling my eyes because it started to reek of basic Mary Sue who refuses to recall any other details (or interesting personality traits) from their past life, besides the plot of this one shitty novel she reincarnated into. There are some cute moments here and there, but honestly it doesn't stand out from any other of the dozen basic I-was-reborn-into-xyz-stories.
Characters that exist can be categorized as followed: 1. Bullies who hate FL's mom and therefor FL.
2. good people (mainly her family rn) who support her.
And 3. the important people from the novel she read which are on either side of the spectrum.... and the only reason why they get their own category is because they have a backstory unlike everything else.
BTW, the unreasonable violence from strangers is just not explained, like why FL's mother was hated by literally everyone and stuff. Magic also just happens, no system, no nothing. It's just chain thing magic circle summon here, hypnosis mind spell there, fuck it, figure it out yourself and goodnight. Maybe these will get explained later, but this is basic stuff that typically requires an explanation or some form of attention right away to give readers a deeper understanding of the world and the story. Honestly, the whole villain mother thing just feels like an excuse to make FL an uwu abused woke baby archetype. You'll be satisfied by this if you just want to project yourself onto an FL who was off bad and then spoiled to death by her loving adoptive family.

Not a big fan. FL ticks way too many Mary Sue trait categories. Everyone she meets and talks to instantly likes or admires her, when someone doesn't: they're idiots and will get humiliated, she literally makes the crown prince thirsty for her for no reason besides existing within his field of view, she doesn't have to try to make other people happy, and whenever she gets into trouble and can't talk herself out 100%, the ML pops out of the abyss all of the sudden to back her up and hand out threats with his dragon demon magic. Also I find their whole vibe as kids weird as hell. It's like the author doesn't know how kids actually behave and just made them mini-versions of their adult selves. Also dislike how they dealt with the ML's abusive dad. (Spoilers if you care) He beat his son up with no issues and sent him off at the age of 15 to fight giant monsters... But when he starts to project himself and his dead wife onto their relationship, he softens up all of the sudden and feels no shame from all the extremely messed up things he's done to his own flesh and blood. GG, I hate it.

I don't know why this is so highly rated tbh, it feels so basic to me. She's all about accounting and business but her knowledge seems so surface level- it's boring. Speaking of surface level, it's clear the author didn't care to really think of how divorce and business works.
I mean, I'm not some high IQ businessman myself but it's so obvious that the story is just following the basic "FL slayyys after taking whatever L and prevails bc she is smart, pretty and possesses knowledge of another life"-plot. And don't get me started on the love ineterests, they're just as predictable and stereotypical.
I'm still reading, so I hope it gets better... but honestly I'l close to dropping it.
If you're here for anything more than projecting yourself onto FL to be a baddie, you won't find anything as far as I can tell so far.

somnia created a topic of When the Villainess Loves

The translation makes it so hard to understand any conversation that lasts more than a few lines. I can't even judge whether the storyline got worse or whatever else because I already have my hands full trying to tetris their jibberish together into something that makes sense. All I know is that FL and ML kissed and Eugene is shook af at this point.

God that argument with the Earl felt like the biggest "destroyed by facts and logic AND then everybody clapped"-moment I've seen in any shoujo manga so far. Tbh I feel like the story is going down the drain. So much time is being wasted on things that don't matter, and whoever wrote this could've saved themselves a lot of time by just not including so much dead dialogue. Though idk, the wonky translations might play a part in why I'm struggling to enjoy these long ass conversations.
