Simple and obvious theory: Hyunmook is more than just your average corrupted.
Thing is I don't think it's as simple as his body being weird on the inside, his corruption seems to have seeped into his mind and soul, and/or whatever is giving him or making his powers.
His sane side is convinced that he can't stay purified - after what he went through and how he's reverted several times already his doubt is more than reasonable - but it could also be a thing where he has become something of a core or amplifier for the abyss itself, so he's justifiably suspicious of ever truly being 100% cured.
It would explain why the monsters don't want to get near him unless he invades their territory, and why he has bonus corruption related powers - perhaps those powers are all about twisting/influencing the structure of the abyss, at least.

I'm also a big fan of how openly Hyukmoon is basically admitting that he's dtf via corrupted self. Either my guy used to be a fiend for ass or his grabby hands have convinced him of the treasure that lies below.

The second, pink leash on the cover kinda told us before the story did huh
And that's why I FEAR he's gonna stick around longer than I'm comfortable with

I'm clocking all the ppl calling Jaeyi ugly: You read all 1001 yaoi smut manhwa available on this site in the span of 1 month max, terminal X/twitter user and/or stalker of south-korean drama whether kpop or others, and likely never touched another human being outside your immidiate family/close friend circle.

Some weidos really see one face that doesn't adhere to the amalgamation that is the same default sigma jawed ML of exactly 3 hair/eye color variations and blow a gasket like that shit ever mattered

I do want to kick Astana's balls until his liquid descendants evaporate, but if ML is gonna torture/kill him in front of the queen or smth I think that's where I'm out.

I think I'd be pretty satisfied if he spent the rest of his life as a monk far into the boonies, bc yk that alone would destroy his entire ego... Maybe make him an eunuch, but that's about where I draw the line. He's still young so at least give him a chance to survive the punishment and live to regret his actions ykwim-

Yk what grinds my gears about all these manhwa protagonists going to these "barbaric", fetishized, vaguely arabic lands? It's always about this caricature of a culture. Look how much they love battle stuff, omg they show so much more skin omgggg (and probably all have skin cancer bc tf is this belly dancer ass temu outfit supposed to protect these "warriors" from)! They all literally look the same too, wouldn't you know. Like whoever insisted on this shit grabbed those foremost braincells steeped in ignorance and internalized racism and just ran with it.

Creativitiy is dead. And I think its lack here clearly shows that this manhwa doesn't stand out on its own.
Ppl are over-hyping it because of the visuals and the fast pace. Imo it's way too early to tell if this is gonna be good or not. It's skipping a bit too much over some facts for my liking. Like if this is an alternative dimension then why should she or Garen be all that confident in predicting events and their knowledge of other people? I've got more questions, and hopefully they'll be answered in time but I fear this might be the kinda thing where it's mentioned twice if we get lucky and forgotten about.

The plot died with Rashta, a fact that is proven right by the comment section. Barely anyone still gives a shit about what Navier is up to without the schadenfreude of seeing Rashta be a dumb clown and eat shit. That's why it's so funny to me that people are arguing about what could've been. The author, or at least this adaptation, fails to give Rashta as a character any credible depth. She gets like 2? or so moments where she is bestowed the ability to self-reflect and one of those moments is right before she bites the dust. Everything in between, the other 100-whatever or so chapters she is nothing but a dumb whore for the audience to have emotions at alongside the ex husband.

It would've been great if she was ever written to be this consequence of a broken and exploitative system, how maybe if Navier made other choices she could've prevented her downfall, but the way I see it she's a cardboard cutout with too much implied substance for an overcooked, selfindulgent manhwa to handle. Womp, womp.

Is this gonna be a thing where he approached Jin from the start, knowing he was a cop? I can imagine that he misunderstood their first encounter and commited to falling into this percieved honey trap, to keep the cop away from the actual crime business.
But we also don't know shit about Hui-Jae, so he could be keeping homeboy close on purpose (at first anyway). Maybe it's got something to do with the foundation business and the disappearance of Jin's coworker.

Like i needed anymore confirmation that Kloff is kaka af

I don't understand how you can consciously make such a pos the only love interest. At this point Aeroc is gonna be reborn as an asexual mountain monk in his 4th life bc he has to start dodging whatever malevolent force is responsible for shoving fucking Kloff of all men at his face.

I feel like their relationship can only properly start over after FL leaves and they spend at least a few years apart from each other. FL can take that time to forget about him for once in her life and see what's out there, while ML needs to grow tf up, mature and work on his communication skills. Then it'd be an actual clean slate restart, and honestly that's all I expect bc no way will the author do a 180 and pull another ML out of their hat.

Cherry forcing Eden to bite her is so stupid. Like even if his body is fighting the zombie germs, that doesn't mean it just instantly dies once it enters his body. This is the reason why even asymptomatic people who tested positive were sent home during covid, even if they already got the vaccine. Like it takes time for the immune system to gear up and fight th– I'm being way too serious about this tiny detail.
I need to calm down.

of all things to let homegirl sit on in this million dollar home

It's a good love story, I just wish there was more of everything. Like I wish FL didn't wham bam graduate and now she's sittinng on the train, yk what I mean? There could've been like a dozen more chapters going into the politics and dynamics of aristrocratic families and more time with side characters. Like idk why but I was convinced that Cecelia would get a little limelight and we would see that she too is just a tool for her family, so she did all those things out of a mix of peer pressure, desperation and a sort of clawing for any kind of power move. But in the end she really is just horny to peg ML and wants to make him sad. At least it seems that way to me rn, who knows what future chapters will bring.
Since the narrative switched up maybe these type of things will be more prominent with ML? I'm not sure at this point but whatever.

The narrative gives me the vibes of a novel adaptation kinda. Like the manhwa is rushing through what's most impactful and important but missing the flavor text in between.

I knew Vaye wouldn't ever do smth to pregnant FL. Like he's a despicable, pathetic, sad excuse of a man but he wouldn't let her die.
And it's not like he had some mindblowing revelation either, his reasons were still largly selfish; he wanted to cement himself somewhere in her memories. I was kinda hoping (because we're allowed to hope that the bad guy makes a turn for the better instead, thanks) that he would come to terms with the fact that she left him, but I think everything he is doing rn, like giving all his documents to FL's dad's bank, is STILL just him doing whatever possible to catch her eye.

This story does its 9/5 and does a good job for being in the niche that it is but there's not much beyond that if you ask me. Put aside how clearly the manhwa had to trim a lot of fat and skip scenes from the novel (havent read it, its just that obvious).

It's a power fantasy, and pretends like it's trying to liberate FL while in reality she's in the palm of ML's hand basically the whole time. Like, we're not really trying to deal with the implications of that, and just indulging in the power fantasy of having this OP god-like Ken doll be down bad for her while outrizzing all her other men. It's a bit of a shame imo, but as I said it is what it is. It accomplishes what it's trying to achieve.
There are also some inconsistencies that come about from the manhwa rushing so much, especially at the end. The final happy end doesn't feel as satisfying bc of it and leaves some questions.

Like why was the demon set free to begin with? If both his halves were sealed, how come he was able to do the whole monster under the bed thing? What happened to the egg? Lowkey I was thinking FL would adopt the child, and do her best to raise them well as an act of absolution but also a final vengeance where she's responsible for the last remnant of her nemisis, and make them a good person despite how cursed their origins are.
There is also so little about ML's life and what he really went through, which doesn't help the op ken doll accusations lmao. Also, also don't understand how the green tea bitch was so convinced that her child would get 3 wishes too which she could just hijack or smth???
Anyway, you get the gist.

Please spoil me a little here.
I just started reading this, I'm like at chapter 4 and pulled the emergency brakes when I read what is def not gonna be a love interest (sarcasm) say "she reminds me of *her".
I'm very jaded when it comes to a lot of romance reincarnation tropes so please tell me how hard this one is commiting to the theatrics instead of trying to be vaguely original or at least well written-

This would be so much better if it didn't insist on using and abusing the "surprise, the villain is actually beloved by many" trope.
The brother's dialogue must be mistranslated or smth. There is one pov of his where he's being way too incesty with his affection - at least I hope it is a mistranslation. The conspiracy guy too is over the top, like why does everything have to boil down to the bare bones that is Isabelle being so lovable, actually, but nobody tells her.
It just invalidates the og Isabelle, yk what I mean? The manga established well how much of a loss it is, the tragedy of too little too late and what not, but at the same time is getting caught up in the trope and overstaying its welcome.

This does have a good twist or two though, and I enjoyed the yearning. I hope they do something interesting with the crown prince.

holy melons, homegirl has a whole titanium spine or smth

Let's hope this won't commit to the torture of becoming a 200+ chapter long, drawn out essay about how special FL is while it constantly throws her into random ass side quests like becoming a popstar.
This looks so promising, PLEASE do not sin...
