Turning off distractions is the most important thing. You can leave turn your phone off and put it in another room. This way, you can 'bore' your mind and focus on studying. And try to understand the general concept of the thing you're learning. Instead of learning the specifics, you should focus on the big picture.

Exercise to tire yourself out and feel fresh

Imma be the unethical person but cheat your way to success ╮(￣▽￣)╭

Open your notes or anything that you use to learn that have information on it, try to summarize the information into small points, on in my case “dumb it down for someone with few braincells”, I do that cause it helps me remember information better than just a huge chunks of text, stuff like key words help
You can add gestures to remember a pattern too if you are a visual learner like this formula makes the answer go down so you do a down motion or remember a context or example of a phrase,,, etc
Or you can just put your whatever you use to study near you, you may start to feel threatened or pressured to pick it up and reading/review it.
I did not follow my advise however and def bomb ny test

Reminds me of a friend who risked his life by pulling out his phone to search for answers during the test… fortunately that teacher is the type to not walk around the room

Okay but fr if you only want to pass the exam i would suggest reverse studying. Its where you start by doing exercise or practice sheet then learn from the questions that you got wrong or got confused at. This work especially if your teacher are the type to give out practice sheets for their classes because believe me when i say teachers are not creative. The question are gonna be around what he has given maybe rearrange the sentence, or choices or for math they would just change the number.

Also it help me save time not to study the whole materials and it still help me pass the exam easily. I use this method everytime i got lazy or when i forgot i have exam and I still got my master degree

Lol just study before exam like 30 to 10 minutes before exam is starting cuz you will have no choice but to study and your brain would 100% function at that time

Coming from a teacher, try to re-read your notes several times while highlighting key elements with a marker. You'll unconsciously remember those.
It isn't as efficient as taking the time to learn stuff but it does a good job if you're not feeling like studying this time.
