i just find it so unlikeable when people dote on one character, especially if it's familial relationships. this is actually why i can't stand so many time-regression or soul-swapping or whatever those tropes are with usually a fMC who deals with brothers, or deals with ...... reply
meta-awareness in a straightforward sense. i love random fourth-wall breaks or sudden bouts of consciousness but when it's just too much sometimes it's just too much. like what op said about lampshading, too. like by a certain point it's just distracting to the audience's immersion. 1 reply

this is so embarrassing omg. also "level of rape and assaulters + victims increasing by a lot" is mostly due to the fact that people are more willing to actually report assault in this day and age. it's people like you, who thought their opinions were facts and therefore logical enough to justify crimes, who were in the majority back then and that'...... reply
