I had a 2 year long situationship from 2023. up until 2025. almost exactly like this one where it was constant push and pull. We ended up actually dating last year and then he left me after a week and a half. I hate myself for not being able to hate him. I couldn't. Last night I had a breakdown after MONTHS of being okay just because I saw a girl with the same eyes as him a week and a half ago and I couldn't get him out of my head since. Spent days in bed. Hadn't eaten in 2 days. Hadn't slept until 4 am. Didn't have cigarettes, barely stopped myself from texting him after being out of each other's lives since june last year. Woke up for work at 5 am. Now it's almost 7 am, I'm at work tending to the patents having to pretend like everything's okay. Stay strong out there girls.
Man I'm really not sure what to think of him. Was him deceiving her okay? NO. But it was just a mission he was tasked to do. Logically - he SHOULD'VE told her. But from his perspective you don't even have the right moment to do so. She's been looking for her husband FOR SO LONG and imagine he tells her like "haha it was me the whole time haha" because if I was her I'd kill EVERYONE. I DO like his character development, I like the fact that he wants to help her out of her misery (that he took a part in), but I don't think anything will be resolved until he reveals he's Kim-Hyeon, because one way or another she WILL find out. Just lowkey wishing they will get a happy end together, although I don't think it's gonna happen.
P.S. I HAVE to mention how fascinated I am by her character. I love how she's not made dumb for the sake of romance/plot, I like how she uses her brain, but even though she's very tough, I also like the fact that she actually has emotions and expresses them openly, that she's not written like some badass emotionless MC. I love how, even if it tears her down, she doesn't give up on what she initially started all of this for, Hyeon. I love how she's determinated to find out the truth. Preach.

No major progress with Shin-gi. More like the readers KNOW, before the two of them, that feelings exist. We’re suspecting a time skip because a lot of movement/planning is being made and one of the characters will be out of commission for a hot minute. But there’s a lot of story lore being shared on characters we knew very little about. I suspect the older Hiraharas and the not so mysterious sister will have more appearances.

Lowkey… they are teenagers currently but they be on the adult life events at this point. It’s been HEAVY. So I would appreciate a time skip. I’m an adult now, so I no longer feel comfortable with the way these kids bumping elbows with grown adults.
