For anyone asking why Jio or any of the othe4 Gio's were indefferent with their deaths. It's not because they are broken, nope. It's just their nature to accept things as is. as long as they believe that they choose the choice where they are the most true to themselves, they are ready to face the consequences of it.
There are many more instances where you'll question how 'indefferent' the Jio's can be. It will feel uncomfortable and most of the times won't makes sense from human perspective.
but the whole point of the story is Gio being a being higher than a Human. not any of his choices will make sense because he has stop being a human a long time ago.
is he a god then ? or maybe a monster ?
no one can tell. then there's also the fact that Gio keeps insisting that he is a Human against all facts thrown.
reading the novel is really just a bunch of things about self discovery and defining what makes a person his own person.
is it by what you believe you are?
is it by what thr majority of othet people define u as?
how about good and bad? how do u define it based on the lens of perspective we are trying to look at?

up to the latest chapter I've read, there are 3 jios in total. yhe black haired we knew, the priest Giovanni, and the beast/evil god Argio. based on some pages of the manga, it seems to have more Gios as well.
technically, the frame allows the oG seo jio to connect with other "Gios" from another world /dimensions/time line. all these people, though different in name, world, and time line, all shared the same naturex and has the gone by a nickname "gio"at some point.
based on whatI understand, it seems that these people all whare the same soul, hence, allowing them all to be part of one entity , the painting "Jio's portrait".
through the power or the frame, they all synchronize at some point, given that the required quest is complete, ultimately making the entity Gio something more than human.
I swear to god that I remember reading this up to the point where rine wa revealed to be the blonde girl in tarcans childhood. There was even a part where rine will save tarkan in the subjugation using the shield invention. But surprise surprise, the manga aint in that part yet. Has this been reuploaded at some point??
Or am I just confusing it. I do have a habit of reading the novel whenever I encounter ongoing manga. I'm not quite sure if that's what happened for this one.
It's just that the memory for that scene is so vivid in my mind I doubt I just imagine it from the novel.

Spoilers pls!! Pretty sure he quit being the demon lord cuz he realizes hes gonna die.
I wonder how he's gonna end though and who the main enemies are.
I think he quits because he's pretty tired of all the bullshit, the never-ending loop and being forced to play the same role over and over again.
Basically, Deus World is like a giant theater where the Higher Gods watch the characters repeat the same cycle for thousands of years. It's essentially a scripted world: a Hero is chosen, the Demon King awakens, and the Hero is destined to kill the Demon King. Afterward, the cycle resets, and they are reborn to repeat the same story again and again. But Deus woke up 20 years earlier than he was supposed to. Instead of following the script, he trained, and formed a bond with the future Hero, the very person who is supposed to kill him in that cycle. That creates a kind of glitch in the system because their relationship and actions are no longer following the predetermined script. So, all I can say is that our MC and Zeke won't actually fight each other in the end. Instead, they'll eventually team up and go after the real enemies, the Higher Gods who have been controlling the entire cycle.
Good art and smexy scene. Story is your usual red flag top with borderline gaslighted bottom. Will give it around 5/10. The story got so much potential but meh.
I feel like the story could be better of theres atleast a redemption arc for the top or if it explore the fact that mc grow in the center his whole life. Things like that. Everything feels so rushed
