i stole this from another a while back so kudos to them

In 1996, Kwon Jung-ae was teaching at Yewol Elementary School and helping Tae-kyung.
On August 11, 1997, Kwon Jung-ae killed Kim Taek-woo on Yewol Mountain and buried a "Caecilia" cross necklace nearby; Jung In-beom recorded a video of the body being buried.
That same year, Tae-kyung moved from the Liyue Orphanage to the House of Hope, and Kwon Jung-ae moved away from Yewol.
Between 2002 and 2004, Jung In-beom repeatedly blackmailed Kwon Jung-ae using the video and a letter containing evidence of the murder committed by Kwon Jung-ae and Han Seok-ju.
It is estimated that in 2003, Tae-kyung entered his first year of high school and was in the same class as Han Je-won.
It is estimated that in early 2004, Tae-kyung was adopted by Han Seok-ju (he reunited with Kwon Jung-ae and told her he now had a family).
In February 2004, Han Seok-ju asked Kwon Jung-woo for Kwon Jung-ae's address, claiming he was investigating a dangerous case.
On February 10, 2004, Tae-kyung went to the police station to ask if there had been any recent deaths; upon leaving, he saw his adoptive mother's car driving out from the direction of Migok Church. Kwon Jung-ae died in a fire, and Tae-kyung saved Hee-seo.
On March 31, 2004, Prosecutor Hwang Ji-yeon investigated the cause of the fire at Migok Church and privately assigned her junior colleague, Han Seok-ju, to handle the matter. Jung In-beom was investigated for blackmailing Kwon Jung-ae, and the correspondence between Kwon Jung-ae and Han Seok-ju was not returned.
In 2007, the first murder in the St. Veronica Orphanage serial killing case occurred.
In the winter of 2014, Tae-kyung and Hee-seo reunited. September 15, 2015: Han Seok-ju is diagnosed with breast cancer (though the diagnosis is questionable).
That same year, Tae-kyung learns of the existence of certain letters through a review of Jung In-beom’s records and discovers an "Agatha" necklace and letters hidden behind a mural at his foster mother's home. Hee-soo learns from Kwon Jung-woo that the prosecutor had been informed of her mother's whereabouts; meanwhile, a nun at Migok Church tells Tae-kyung that a man had once inquired about his mother while holding a "Caecilia" cross necklace—a name Tae-kyung later identifies as his mother's baptismal name via a church registry. Hee-soo subsequently leaves.
October 7, 2022: Han Seok-ju has recovered and is a strong contender for a seat on the council. Tae-kyung arranges to meet Jung In-beom, with Hee-soo tailing him; after Tae-kyung is knocked unconscious, Hee-soo grazes Jung In-beom’s arm with a pistol.
Eun-sung is assigned to the case; Jung In-beom has been fatally shot by an illegally modified shotgun. Eun-sung shares clues with Han Je-won. Han Je-won connects the dots—recalling the archery club, finding the club instructor, learning that Tae-kyung ran the "House of Hope" facility and was cared for by Kwon Jung-ae before that, identifying Hee-soo as Tae-kyung's mother, linking Kwon Jung-ae to St. Veronica High School, remembering the cross from childhood services with his mother, and realizing "Caecilia" is the password for Tae-kyung's encrypted file—and discovers a group photo from Veronica Orphanage where most faces have been crossed out.
October 22, 2022: Han Je-won tells Eun-sung the computer contains data related to Veronica Orphanage. Eun-sung reveals she is investigating a serial murder case linked to the orphanage; Jung In-beom was the final victim, and Tae-kyung—the first witness—is suspected of being held captive by the killer. Eun-sung asks for the file password, but Han Je-won withholds it.
Han Je-won finds a vehicle scrapping registration form for Han Se-hee’s car on his mother’s desk—dated the day after Tae-kyung went missing—and discovers a photo of Tae-kyung with an "X" marked over it inside a picture frame. After November 16, 2022, Hee-seo attended the acquisition of SH Cosmetic—a company in which Han Se-hee held shares—as the legal representative for Gretel Partners. Tae-kyung discovered a secret room containing a video on a computer that showed Han Seok-ju being kidnapped on the very day he had met with Jung In-beom.

PSA: The author is a fetishist if ur reading cuz ur curious what happens or if you want jiwooks situation to improve just drop it. I read through the novel in hopes that jiwook left juyeon or something and it didnt happen.
Basically when jiwook tried to escape with that one friend juyeon found out somehow i dont rmb and he got all of jiwooks enemies and gang raped him. During the gang rape juyeon told jiwook why he was doing this (because jiwook gangraped him in the past because juyeon liked jiwook and jiwook was homophobic) but jiwook still doesnt remember and thought juyeon was lying. They hung jiwook with a rope from the ceiling and many many men that jiwook used to be enemies with such as lee woojins gang members brutally assaulted him, pissed on him, beat him up and punched his abdomen so he would be ‘tighter’, inserted baseball bat in him, stuff in his urethra, etc. while suhyeok i think (his friend who helped him escape) was just watching, too scared to help. Eventually he passed out and went to the hospital, though the staff were suspicious of juyeon they didnt say anything because the story is just written in an unrealistic way due to the author being a fetishist. He dreamt about his past memories and what he did to juhyeon and immediately started sobbing and apologizing. He begged juyeon to stay by his side because he developed stockholm syndrome and felt that juyeon was the only person able to protect him from being gangraped again. In the end and side stories he stayed living with juyeon and in one of the side stories juyeon put vibrators inside him and tied him up to the bathroom on the campus for the gist of it (not revenge) and a bunch of men saw including suhyeok, juyeon untied him and teased him laughing and stuff basically not taking anything seriously. jiwook heard a lot of auditory hallucinations, etc. of the men who raped him and kinda went crazy. He only depended on juyeon and the hallucinations would stop whenever juyeon was there but it was horrible. The most disgusting part of the story is when juyeon forced him to have sex with their dog, sawok. Its not suprising and honestly nothing on juyeon bc these characters are not real, its just the author who loves putting in their fetishes ig. Honestly this story almost made me cry as an empath but i had to keep reminding myself its not real. Anyways thats it, sorry for the long message.
Edit: I forgot to include one of the most important parts of the story; Jooyeon was against the idea of the whole “revenge” thing that Jiwook’s enemy (Woojin) gave him. He didn’t want to. When Jiwook got into a big fight that caused him to go to the hospital—Jooyeon visited him always. He asked Jiwook something about revenge and what he would do if he was in the position. Jiwook responded with: “You should do 10x worse.” Then Jooyeon thought about it and he proceeded with the idea of taking his revenge out on Jiwook. Basically listening to Jiwook’s idea of the whole revenge thing

If you’re already feeling bad for Cheong-Myeong doing all the chasing, you’re gonna have to marinate this one.

Saheon is only sexually attracted to Cheong-Myeong.
In the chapters to come, he will weaponize Cheong-Myeong’s feelings for him. He treats CM like a “fucktoy” or a fuck buddy. This will lead to CM feeling USED and DIRTY.

During sex, Saheon is incredibly perverted and kinky. Dirty talks (almost degrading) is one of them.
Cheong-Myeong is a virgin and a conservative, so when he cries during sex, it’s often from FEAR. But Saheon, instead of being careful and acknowledging the fear on CM’s eyes, gets turned on and relentless instead…

This part pissed me off so bad. It made me icky because Saheon pretty much coerced Cheong-Myeong… after sex, he would leave CM to clean himself. This makes CM feel like a prostitute, or a casual fling. The worst part was the… SA… that’s when CM finally broke down… emotional burnout… so he ran away.

The chase arc is super short… but Saheon made up for it throughout the novel. He redeemed himself for 60% of the entire story. After the chase arc, Saheon changed for the better. If he sees a single tear on CM’s eyes, he immediately stops and checks on CM.

Saheon also became anxious throughout their relationship. The guilt of “corrupting” the young boy, using his feelings as leverage for sex, forcing kinks onto him, leaving him to clean up after sex, and the extreme— and I mean EXTREME emotional neglect left a psychological impact on Cheong-Myeong. Because if this, Saheon constantly apologized and pretty changed for the better.

Honestly, i was satisfied with how much “awareness” Saheon had for his trash behavior, and he never stopped apologizing throughout the story.

Idk if some of the novel readers here read the same one i did lmfao cause the Saheon is totally different in my perspective a promiscuousmanwhore? Well idk abt that but he does love sex with his Mungmung. And from what I've read (multiple times atp) Saheon has been thinking abt Mungmung after his third confession in highschool (mc was what, only 16-17?) and they haven't met since until the present. The novel doesn't explicitly mention whether Saheon had gfs during that period but after he and Mungmung have started their sexual relations, Saheon's co-pilot or senior mentions saheon hasn't said anything or thought abt getting married and having a gf. And Saheon was thinking of how they'd react if they knew he was in a relationship with someone 11 years younger . BUT that was what Saheon thought while Mungmung, for half the novel, thought Saheon was just using him for sex.

Clearly, misunderstanding is a huge part of their relationship and its so funny cause Mungmung keeps confessing every time he gets drunk. Saheon had already replied to his confession the first time Mungmung got extremely drunk and confessed (which will be after this whole not coming back home arc) and they had sex. Since then Saheon thinks they're already dating and becomes extremely touchy and affectionate. On the other hand, Mungmung has forgotten the whole incident after waking up and thinks Saheon and him are only in a sexual relationship but he likes it. After this, they do have sex almost everyday, only because Saheon thinks they are in a proper relationship.

But Mungmung, poor thing, is so naiive and doesn't have much clarity of Saheon's feelings because he keeps forgetting Saheon's words and replies to his confessions while he was drunk. IMO Saheon has so much control at not getting angry with mungmung everytime the latter misunderstands and runs away without saying why and Saheon has to keep flying back urgently to bring mungmung back.

Saheon literally makes changes to his flight schedules last moment cause he got a text from mungmung abt leaving the house. And Saheon was rendered speechless cause mungmung was so shocked when Saheon asked why they were breaking up. "We're dating?" O.O
istg Saheon always was at his wits end when mungmung kept running away from him.

After the whole realization arc, Saheon keeps telling Mungmung he likes him every chance he gets. Saheon loves him so much, he's boldly affectionate in front of their families but their families are on another level of nonchalant and think Saheon is just joking around

Here’s what I know so far (Novel— implied, not shown):
.
.
.
Saheon (Top) is a manwhore slut who literally has sex every-fucking-day, ultimately satisfying his kinks and shit. Because of his handsome face, he’s never been single. He’s also quite the pervert.

What pisses me off is when he sent (and is currently doing it now) mixed signals to Cheong-Myeong. Remember the kiss? He doesn’t like/love Cheong-Myeong yet when he did that. The inly reason he did it to a drunk (non con) Cheong-Myeong is because he’s starting to develop physical attractiveness, basically he’s pent up and horny.

Just know that, Saheon is PROMISCUOUS. Sex is like breathing to him. He’s done every single possible kink you can think of, and he’s never had serious relationships. Despite his cool and mature demeanor towards Cheong-Myeong, his true nature has always been a manwhore-slut-faced-hoe bag.

Saheon, feeling horny for Cheong-Myeong (despite being straight all his life), will instigate a physical relationship with the poor boy. This will leave Cheong-Myeong incredibly insecure. Cheong-Myeong would feel like a FLING, while Saheon is just enjoying himself while fucking the poor love-sick Cheong-Myeong.

This part of the story really pissed me off. Saheon is EXTREMELY PERVERTED. He deliberately flirted with Cheong-Myeong to lure the poor boy into the trap so Saheon could ravage him. Despite knowing that Cheong-Myeong was inexperienced, this bastard continued to explore kinks relentlessly…

The chasing arc was unsatisfactory too. He never really verbally apologized for making Cheong-Myeong insecure, he just changed his ways and acted extra caring.

To be fair though, he was never mean to Cheong-Myeong. He wasn’t physically abusive. But the emotional turmoil and the sexual instigation is what really pissed me off.
It just doesn’t feel like he truly loved Cheong-Myeong even to the end. No matter how many times he reassures Cheong-Myeong, you really can’t feel the love.

Also, Cheong-Myeong was the one to confess again! It would’ve been better if Saheon was the one to confess first this time, but NOPE. So yeah fucking hell

It's always the biggest manwhore who ends up with the virgin bottom. Yeah, you can argue it was his choice to sleep around, but what, some fucking miracle happened the moment he saw the MC again after years? His whole damn brain just rewired?

He fucked dozens of people and never caught feelings for any of them, but suddenly it's the innocent virgin bottom? I'm so fucking sick of this cliché.

Honestly, it would've been so much better if, after getting rejected, the MC had said, "Fuck this," moved on, dated other people, and actually lived his life. Then, when the ML finally realized his feelings, he'd have to earn that relationship instead of the MC just waiting around like a backup option. That would've made the romance feel a hell of a lot more satisfying instead of the same recycled bullshit trope.

I loved the novel, like I said in another comment, so here are all spoilers:

Mc & uke = ki seojung, air traffic controller, 31 y/o
Ml & seme = Cha Yoon, pilot, 29 y/o

The pov changes so we get to see both their thoughts and we get a lot of viewers reactions.

This is FULL spoiler for the setting, including things revealed much later.

So, cha Yoon and seojung were celebrating their 7th anniversary when they got in an accident. Yoon turned the car to protect seojung, got the brunt of it and lost his memory.
Yoon is back to his 22 y/o self, before he developed feelings for Seojung. Yoon was raised by VERY catholic parents, so when he is told he is dating seojung, as soon as he wakes up from a coma, while amnesiac, he lashes out, says he'd never date a man, tells seojung not to call him affectionately. Seojung leaves, and while Yoon gets used to his new reality he thinks "well, if I were with a MAN for 7 years, then it must have been a great love" and starts to open up to the idea, gets excited to ask things about their realationship and all. So he's happy when seojung schedules a visit later that week. But as soon as they meet, first thing seojung says is "lets break up".
Thata because Yoon's parents told him to leave his son "you already made his life harder once, he got hurt before you, will you still keep this pretense even now that he doesn't remember or wants you? Don't use excuses like caring for him, the best care you can give is leaving" when he said he'd take responsibility for the accident and protect Yoon for life.
That angers Yoon, who has a young and fiesty mind. He thinks "this guy must have been planing to break up with me since before the accident. Great love my ass". He's really hurt and confused and most of all MAD.
Fast forwards, Seojung's Ex, Dabin, was cheated on by her fiancé, so she calls Seojung and asks him to join the X show with her, so they can pretend to be the final couple at the end, and she can get revenge on her ex. He realized he was gay while dating her, so he feels indebted, and he wants to get his mind off of Yoon so he accepts.
On the other side, Yoon's Childhood friend, JooAh, LESBIAN, was caught by her CHURCH LEADERS parents and people from the church, with her girlfriend. She decides to leave Korea but her family wants her to clean her reputation first so she asks Yoon to pretend to be her ex on TV so she can play straight for one last time. Yoon refuses, but she says Seojung will be there. Yoon is baffled, they dated for 7 years but he's got an ex to go on that show with? A show with the premise of wanting to get back with your ex??? He accepts, they produce a relationship and get into the show.
Yoon hadn't realized yet, but he was full of jealousy
