Imo the reasons both of them are waiting make sense. Both have reason to think the other will react poorly and it totally makes sense to not want to confess before the ad airs if they're gonna have to keep working together. I feel like it's fairly realistic to every emotionally stunted gay person I know
Their relationship doesn't have any buildup so the payoff feels hollow. 0 character development and the plot is empty. One of the only times I've rated a manga (mostly) without SA this low
10/10 except I would have liked sliiiiiightly more angst. Also I wish we had seen how he perceived himself in reflections and dreams instead of it still showing him hot
They could've hit a 16-12 age gap WITH EASE considering how early in life a commoner would have to start work compared to a prince.
Also I wish the present had been while they were adults. They were barely at their school at all so there was no reason this couldn't be college setting or workplace.
The dialogue was SO corny at points Like (SPOILER)
when Edward doesn't know Calipa is in the room and he monologues his entire evil plan to himself and then verbalizes his thought process about killing his brother
Every time I read an older BL manga there's an 80% chance there's a rape that gets brushed off as not an issue (ch 2 fingers in this case) and I can only assume it's because the mangakas are misinformed and don't view it as rape. Makes me even more concerned about the safety of women in Japan
