The writing is really awful at balancing serious stuff to the point that they shouldn’t be writing it. They’re only just now addressing the royal palaces artifact at chapter 161 and it was basically a “oh btw we finally found a way” “okay let’s storm the place!” And it all happens in 1/3 of the chapter.. I really like this series but a whole political revolution and reorganization of the country meanwhile the main couple is drinking beer in Korea and having a honeymoon. Bold as hell to leave their kid behind too since she’s the one opening the portal the FL can go through
I’m glad it’s not just me who thinks this It's honestly a bit of a mess right now. The timeline isn't making sense and the chapters feel so rushed. It's a shame because I used to love reading it before that elf showed up and tag along with him

This guy is built up as super strong by the narrative but he’s always getting his ass beat?? Lmao. They give him no personality besides motivation for revenge for his mother but then the other characters end up way more interesting. For some reason everyone just goes along with his questionably legal aggressive tactics?? And now they’re revealing the guy who killed his mother and it’s only chapter 36?? It feels like it was so interesting at the start, and by the end they were just dropping everyone like flies. I enjoyed her ending up with Tev instead of a prince but like. It felt like the prince’s character was completely dropped by the end. He felt like such a complete extra instead of a character of any substance. I get she’s the main character, but everyone outside of Sylvia feels like static. It just kinda left things unfulfilling. It would’ve been a lot nicer to actually see these characters exist outside of her and not just. Disappear into the aether and do nothing when they aren’t directly relevant to her
