The concept of the story is what drew me in and kept reading but the execution wasn't all that great. The villains all behaved like teenage bullies, including the middle aged men. Like why the OG FL going as far as to kill the king and crown prince with her bare hands with no issue but won’t kill off the maid that you got to poison the emperor instead of put her into hiding? Why leave loose end?
This is just my speculation, no spoiler or anything, but perhaps, Julia is actually a lost princess from the main kingdom, the bigger one, where our black hair blue eyes captain serves?
I don’t remember completely why I thought that, I’ve been reading too many series in the past month it’s all jumbled up lol. If memory serves me correctly, I thought this before I read the part where she ate the gem that gave her the ability to go back each time she died. Prior to that scene I thought that it may be part of the royal family gift/curse. And since she’s an orphan, her past is a mystery even to herself, leaving room for the author to make such claim.

I’ve noticed the FL (name changes too often) flips her hair at least once every chapter. If you’re just starting to read this now. Sorry
To be fair, it is down to her ankles but lmao
