Short answer is: not necessarily. At least for me, I don't read them very often because almost all the ones I have found have absolutely terrible translation and many didn't have very good art either. I simply have certain requirements when it comes to quality. reply
The best stories I have seen are the ones where the omega finds people that treat them equally. I have seen many omegaverse stories where the author romanticized the alpha being better than the omega or the alpha being of higher standing and acting as such with the omega.
