I was considering picking this up but I've been lied to cus tell me why people told me Fredrick and FL aren't a thing and we're just putting on a fake lovers show but on ch 6 FLs whole body is full of hickeys and her doctor reminds her not to get pregnant, they've definitely been fucking and anyone who says otherwise must be crazy.
Like the reason I was so iffy about reading this one is cus I was like okay obviously the husband is gonna be the ml and when he finds out they were faking it he'll pursue her but now that ik FL has been getting her back blown out for the past 3 years in the same house she lives in with her husband how in the hell is that gonna work like omg that feels so wrong. And knowing the mls attitude he might just not give a shit and it's great FL might get development but how y'all just gonna act like the past 3-4 years weren't just some disgusting ntr shit show.
You know maybe they'll explain away the hickeys on a later ch so I'm gonna keep reading but it's getting more and more difficult to like FL. Like if FL and mls positions were reversed and it was a ml walking around with his side piece sleeping in bed with her, making out with her, exposing his nude body to her and walking around covered in hickeys tell me that shit wouldn't have been cancelled to high hell.
Just got to ch 21 despite Selena telling her lover that he's only her bodyguard and for him to never cross the line the lover is licking her boobs while sliding his hand up her skirt and grabbing her ass. Babes what damn line has he yet to cross-

He was forced into the marriage with FL and everyone shamed him for sleeping with women when he didn’t even willingly consent to the marriage. And was manipulated too. They are still lashing out at him for that. But here a woman has a whole lover by side and no one bats an eye
Tbh the only reason I'm really reading this is because the ML quite literally couldn't give less of a shit about her around the start of the story, like he really did not care for her in the slightest and good for him, and seeing the FL realize she's been too cautious and biased about how she sees him and the ml is just having fun.
Also one thing to note Carcel acknowledges he's a shitty person for cheating and referred to himself as filthy and a "used rag" for what he's done even if they weren't actually married and weren't even acting like lovers he felt guilt when he realized he'd done something horrible to the FL( Though she didn't really care since she'd planned his affairs in hopes of living alone with no need for a man).
. While our FL is just like " yeah we fucked what about it" like she's literally so shameless about her lover yet has the nerve to pull the "I'm his wife" card on the husbands ex.

Despite MC saying he won't choose anyone after sleeping with black hair girl again he sends the chief a message saying he's decided to dedicate himself to one person and he's sorry, this leads to the chief confronting black hair, swinging on her, and getting her head cracked open by a chair by black haired girl when she turns her back, and chief then gets back up and beats her ass, the latest ch has mc looking at chief like an angered animal asking why she did that and she basically says if you want to save her you'll have to kill me cus the next time I see her she's dead. Honestly I'm still rooting for the chief, if he ends up with anyone I want it to be her
Tbh the black haired girl deserve better. Ugh. It will be interesting rather about the sex. But focused on how the girl as mc to survived.
Honestly everything that happened so far is pure karma to him. Should've done better at handling the situation with the chief, he really did lead her on and got her invested into him only to break it off by text message... the direction of the story is every where and it Honestly had no initial reason going this way expect the author is terrible at pacing a story, the MC behavior is left field, it literally come from out of nowhere I feel like he changed too quickly to be acting like this..

From what I've seen in the raws the one to first stab the husband is the FL then the white haired guy and later the maid comes in all concerned and scared after seeing the husband lying in a pool of blood, but when he mistakes her for FL and says something about her she goes ape shit and finishes him off.
also I think the white hair guy died since husband played dead before maid came in and did a sneak attack on him with a poisoned knife and when they're escaping the city white hair collapses and we see the poison spreading and then Sasha and FL are crying as he closes his eyes while thinking of FL, maybe crown Prince might save him somehow idk, but yeah main contender for final ML is the knight guy Sasha rn.

I noticed that in like ch 77 of the raws there's actually a scene where the ML is talking with his fuck buddy (some black haired woman) about how cold he is and how he won't make any woman happy or some shit (this happened before getting engaged to FL but after they've first met and rumors were spreading) but they cut it out of this eng version. But like why tho, were they trying to make the ML seem more pure?

The author was actually trying to make a point about how Laura was actually not Benedict's first (something alobg those lines).. while it is still canon that Benedict had many previous girlfriends, I do agree with readers that the timing was not great when they inserted that narrative (and unnecessary in that flow). They could maybe add those panels later, if/when they give Rania a male interest as well in the incoming season...it would flow better
