Jujutsu Kaisen DJ - Chou Shinyuu Dakara Sekkusu Mo Suru
Not only are they both high schoolers, they’re also NOT REAL~ so I thought this was cute and well done (especially the art), even if it’s not my ship.
Jujutsu Kaisen dj - Nozomi o Kanaeru
I’m fine with any ship so long as it’s drawn well and the characters aren’t TOO ooc. So I thought this was good if a bit short.
Ryoushu-sama no Hana Yome
Chapter 2 feels like the seme is actually gaslighting the uke, like the actual definition of gaslighting. Do not like him. Hopefully this isn’t another one that ends where the uke has to endure abuse in public but “affection” in private because the seme’s reputation is more important than the uke’s happiness. We’ll see, I’ll wait until the end for final judgement.
After I Left You
Update after finishing: Boring story. Boring characters. Go ahead and read if you’re really curious because it’s so short. But you won’t get anything out of it. This is the type of story you completely forget about after 2 days.
With how quickly the MC made up with ML, the ML’s comment about MC just “throwing a tantrum before he comes back” is starting to ring true. Like, the ML just had to be sweet once and look a little tired and then gets immediate forgiveness? This whole read feels like pointless drama now bc of how lackluster the emotions and motivations are.
Drunk in Love
So it’s the bad ending? They’re getting back together? UGH
If You Do Not Obey Me
The ending was very very rushed. I’m obey with (fictional) relationships that start off toxic, criminal, abusive, etc so long as the emotions behind them are strong and conveyed well. Also, if they’re at least aware and it takes time for the characters to grow and move past those aspects. Here, the ending was very rushed and even though they kept bringing it up, it felt like they still glossed over the seme’s vile behavior. If he had actually grown and learned from his past behavior, it would have been fine. But you until the very end he was going against his promises and abusing the uke. Then like the last 2-3 chapters try to wrap it up in a sweet bow and make it all romantic? The uke’s very sudden change in feelings for the seme came out of nowhere and were not built up at all.
Do not recommend, there are plot holes, loose threads, weak emotions, and overall it was a disappointing read. Waste of time.
Perfect Body
Actually hate the uke. Won’t check this out again until it’s complete and that’s ONLY to see if karma caught up with the uke.
I know they’re going to handwave away his awful behavior with a “tragic backstory” but that won’t cut it. He is being intentionally, emotionally cruel and manipulative toward the seme. He acted without the brother’s consent by bringing the MC in to watch. His behavior is repulsive and he makes reading this feel disgusting.
