Yes, it is surprisingly good, in my opinion.
I would rate it a 3.5 (ish) out of 5, personally. to me the characters are pretty one-dimensional and the plot progression is rather predictable, but the story IS true to the genre… and at least the fl is independent ╮(￣▽￣)╭
I forgot what's the deal with the watch, someone?
The watch is like a database with information work from his previous job that he bring along from the future along with his space magic wallet that acted as inventory. Exposing it will risk the technology advancement and a lot of future information, he is not sure if he can handle the aftermath
Also, there were only two of them made by the government/magic association. Him and his dad had a matching set that let them know each other’s condition/location
Like cherry_bustin mentioned, it was a special gift from his dad so it's very sentimental to him and heejae is still pretty reluctant to talk about their alternate relationship/dad in general
