This story is slow burn, the novel has 200+ chapters. The adaptation has been closely sticking to the novel so far and that's good- not like I Can See Your Stats where they left out a LOOOT of scenes from the novel. Also we're not even halfway yet through the story sooooo

I mean, it's wasn't just an inferiority complex thing. They wanted to be strong enough to survive outside of Blank, right? And with therr experience of how the world was years before they honestly believed they couldn't. So it's weird that now they say it was because of an inferiority complex. It's still fucked up that they exprimented on so many cats, but at least stay with a consistent logic. It felt weird
