Okay so I absolutely love the way the MC is.. to a degree. There are some things that I’m not a fan of but that’s not important. Somehow I feel that we’ve lost the plot somewhere in the middle, romantically anyways. Maybe I just have poor comprehension skills or smth but I’m really not understanding why all of a sudden they’re in love with each other(it’s cute don’t get me wrong.) It feels like trying to connect the dots but the dots are missing. I feel like it’s a little stranger for them to have developed feeling for each other this quickly, especially given the situation. But honestly I’m just grateful they didn’t pull a donghua classic and make the mc some frail ass damsel in distress. Thank the lords, truly. Moral of the story I don’t understand how they developed feelings this quick, ik we’re alrdy 51 chapters in but it really feels like nothing happened. Idk maybe it’s just me#－.－)

It’s like it’s supposed to be a comedy rather than a serious story so they just threw in a whole bunch of things as shock factors, or to make their story stick out without actually touching on those things. Like how the mc is a gangster and how his friend betrayed him. There’s still so much more to unpack. I was hoping it’d be more like the donghua “I Have to be a Great Villain.” Idk if that’s the official title but that’s what it call on Mangago. If you haven’t read it, then you really should. Honestly I should’ve never picked this shit back up when I first dropped it 3 yrs ago. Only on chapter 63 but shit. That’s all I need to see tbh, shit is so irritating and I feel like I just wasted hella time reading dis dumpster fire of a story. You mean to tell me that his goal of taking revenge for his best friend that literally killed themselves and gave their heart to him just went to complete shit. Honestly atp the mc should just kill himself or the ml, or give Jennie her heart back, she was so sweet even with her mental state. And he chooses some boy that he barely knew over her. Like please why does he keep apologizing for taking revenge and now he has to prove how much he likes the person that basically killed his best friend. Dumbass story. Lwky this was one of the better stories with three people on the cover. However that’s only because I knew from the start he’d end up with glasses. It’s always the opposite of who I want them to be with. Always glasses was the first one to be introduced. With that being said it was obvious he’d end up with glasses but I still hoped for him to end up the the other guy at the very least. It seems evrbdy has it out for throuples lately. Can’t find a single story that has both good art and a throuple. Most of them have art styles that are to childlike for me or it’s a manga(black and white.) or it’s just over freaked out. Anyways the story was decent.

I’m hoping that he’s also with Jae-woo because wtf. It makes no sense for him to only choose one especially with the progression of the story. But it seems like he turned him down with the way their conversation went and how they blurred it out. It was mainly that gentle kiss on his forehead that told me that the MC rejected him. But it’s so weird and abrupt. It truly makes no sense for him to have only gotten with one of the brothers. The ending feels rushed and I don’t like it, if anything they probably made him get with that black haired guy and that’s finna irk me, like it makes no senseeeeee. They said smth abt a bonus chapter or wtv but idk how long it’s been since the last chapter came out but it’s not looking good. And honestly this feels like a waste of my time it was so cute tho. The ending was ass like it just makes no sense. They set the story up for a threesome but then in the last two chapters all of a sudden it’s only one. Idk I just hope the bonus chapter if it ever comes out does it some good. Sorry for the rant but it just overly irked me.

Yo, this story is confusing ash- I would definitely have an easier time understanding through the novel. (Which I just found out existed btw.) The art was rlly hard to follow and I was confused the whole time. It felt like I was reading somebody’s Poly AI fanfic or sum shit. But umm.. the premise isn’t so bad…if you can actually understand it

It’s really a shame that this has been discontinued but rn I’m only on chapter 2 and I can’t stop thinking how much this reminds me of MDZS by MXTX you may know her other work named Heaven’s Official Blessing. But the similarities are making me feel both nostalgic and fearful for what’s to come. But anyways I may not know what’s gonna happen by the end of this season and I may change my mind on how I feel but just based off the first 2 chapters it really reminds me of MDZS aka the grandmaster of demonic cultivation. It has like 3 different English names but it typically pops up with Mo Dao Zu Shi. So if yall really enjoyed it I would 100% recommend you read MDZS. It has a novel and an anime as well as a donghua so you can read it or watch it. ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶
