Mainly because I don’t like Alice much and have been rooting for Teresa in my heart so watching them be lovey dovey happy has not improved my personal reading experience. I suppose I will either get over it or drop the series. I’ve always hated the trope that the 2nd ML/FL gets strung along and does so much just to get shafted in the end and have to be self sacrificingly happy for the MC anyway.

All the characters are quite colorful and I love them all, even the saintess. You also can’t even blame the ML’s personality on his past life really, he seems to have gotten it organically from his parents lol. At first I’m like ohh it’s the sealed snake and then I’m like no actually he just got all the murder happy bits from his parents genetically. I have high hopes for the MC and her sister to have a good functioning relationship in the future!

I really enjoy the world building and such but I’m on chapter 26 and I’m having a hard time pushing through. Like, talk about being a shit caretaker without putting it into words. The MC is literally the world to her 3 dryads but she literally only loves and respects 1. It’s frustrating, I may be projecting though. Every time she gets something it’s always offered to Daisy first. Every thing is for her tiny cute perfect Daisy. She talks about discrimination so she’s reverse discriminating cause that will show them! The disrespect to Velvet for protecting and guiding her perfectly and even to Elder. I get that Elder’s personality isn’t great but even Velvet says that he’s also still a kid. Listening to MC go when I get this I’ll give it to Daisy first when I get that I’ll give it to Daisy first. It’s giving parents doting only on the youngest vibes and I already get too much of that sh*t irl.
I don’t remember the early chapters being as bad as ur describing imo but I get what ur saying at the same time, i’d say it definitely got better but maybe im biased
I love all the cute kids and animal forms and the MC’s childish imagination. Normally I hate when they make the youngest MC heir and all the older children who spent their childhood prepping get shafted, but in this case the adults seem pretty transparent about this being temporary shenanigans to basically everyone so Ferdy knows that he’ll still become the one who heads the family eventually when he grows up and literally nothing changes at all really. I love how the adults have informed the children and reassures them of what is happening even if they are still children.
