The way two of my favourite characters from the two works of this author (Big Sejin and agent Choi) have such similar personalities and even do the ‘memorise cards by the intricate details on the back’ trick is a weird coincidence. I wonder what liking this type of character says about me as a person lol.

REALLLLLLL Sejin wins this round. Even though he struggled a lil in his mind like ‘is Moondae okay in the head’ he came around to it so fast it was as if he never had any doubts. AND ALSO observed how nervous Moondae was about telling the truth and proceeds to comfort him. Mr Choi on the other hand fumbled so hard that agent grapes decided to perform a vanishing act as soon as he got out lol.

Big Sejin is such a good friend but there are some parts in the novel I sometimes find him a bit annoying. He cares about Moondae but sometimes he could be too meddlesome. I was also very surprised how insightful Cha Yoojin is in the novel.
Nah him being meddlesome is so in character imo and I love him for it. You are right in that Yujin is more insightful than one would first expect though, especially in that situation when the two Sejins got into a fight - it was lowkey a jumpscare for me since I genuinely didn’t expect it from him lmao

With all due respect I do not understand why so many people in the comments are still complaining about the rape when it is 1 - included in the summary, 2 - literally occurs in the very first chapter, and 3 - said rapists, the MLs, are on the goddamn cover of this manhwa with Eunchong. Anyone who is still reading at this point (we are 20 chapters in) should know full well the tone that this story is going for is not some dark psychological revenge thriller and Eunchong is going to end up with one of if not both of them. I started reading this knowing full well what I was getting into. At this point if you are still hung up about what is quite literally the major (and honestly the only) plot point of the story just drop this and pick up something else I beg.
it’s valid to be frustrated when rape is utterly dismissed and normalized just to forge a plotline. yes people will still read begrudgingly but it’s not something they want to be made light of.
Whilst I do agree with the fact that rape should not be trivialised, I should once again emphasise that the fact that it was going to be used as a device to move the plot forward has been made transparently clear from the very beginning. It is absolutely okay to be frustrated with how many BL works out there, this one included, that uses rape/sexual assault willy nilly in their plot just for the sake of it. Heck I for one am absolutely disturbed by how many authors use this as a plot device and make light of it. But to still feel compelled to complain about this even though we are so far into the story seems hardly conducive to making authors less likely to continue writing such stories, especially on a pirating website.
why would people read something they hate? the reason people keep making something is because theres a market for it. im pretty sure this is just one of those stories specifically made for porn. there’s a lot of manhwas and BL with much more substantial storylines that dont use rape as a plot device that these users can give their time instead to enjoy instead of wasting their time hate-reading
like this manhwa in particular is already clear cut from the start about it too unlike other manhwas that would only add the unnecessary assault later on in a story just to add more drama
