Love that they showed that his aunt was partially tormenting juheon out of actual worry for him and not just purely for money bec in reality ppl, esp family, aren't just cartoonishly evil one dimensionals, on the contrary, it's always way worse with the manipulation being rooted in love or care that's doing the most damage bec that care be ultimately dismissing you as a person and painting a shell of what's supposedly right for you in their heads instead, which turns one into a mere doll in their schemes as they themselves believe they're the rightful heroes saving you from your own self through destroying you as a whole but ofc all their shitty actions in process is 100% justified bec they're doing you a favor, out of love, in the end
I hear what you’re saying and it could be true in some cases but not in this one, the aunt has never cared for Juheon or his mother, not now, not ever. The reason she was worried was because of herself, if he went missing or hurt himself or ended up kms, she’d had to answer to the grandfather, their lawyers and the public. He’s her insurance and meal ticket. So sometimes people really are just evil and selfish
that's def part of it, no actually that's for sure the majority reason for her actions but this chapter made it clear there's still some part of love/worry she has for juheon imo as twisted as it might be but it's there prob the reason why she's not a single remorse for her actions but keep tormenting him further too since she's in her head is doing jubeon a favour
I wish yuri would stop being a pushover and a damn doormat even if he's obsessed with xinlu it gets tiring at some point. the constant beating, humiliating and walking all over him like that's insane
at least now that Taeui rejected xinlu for the 7372828672 times he finally seems to be a little more rational
also y’all stop fucking comparing this to passion, the two are literally whole ass different plotlines even if the characters and setting are connected. one is literally plot-driven while the other is entirely feelings and human complex-focused while both carrying different personalities and relationship subtypes.
hating on passion randomly really not gonna make it any less popular or less any less superior
Lol yuri isn't a door mat in general. He looks at Xinlu with pity. It's more like seeing a child throwing a tantrum and hitting and breaking things because they lost something. Not to mention his personality is passive so his response to the pity he feels is just letting Xinlu vent and this only happens in the beginning when u s condition was really bad and he lost his eye
oh yeah a child will constantly put you down and beat you to the point of sending you to a literal hospital with a head injury and then shoot you with a gun in the chest while thinking it had real bullets. and wtf you talking about xinlu's mental state doesn't excuse his abuse I literally relate to him mentally-wise and yet I'd never allow myself to abuse those close to me whenever I've an episode
I don't know which BLINDASS said hyeon doesn't show any feelings for Yiseon when my boy was doing everything and beyond to protect, comfort, cheer him from the very beginning even if Hyeon himself hadn't realised his feelings then it was still his innate instinct in every single move, to be have with Yiseon's best interest for his every act .
I'm so glad Hyeon eventually saved his life and gave him another reasonliving. not to mention how the plot focus was done greatly and I'm not even a fan of the setting. absolute masterpiece.

I dont really know what to feel but the end seems dragged but out of the blue and lacking in the same time although I did love Caesar and Leewon's relationship but Caesar was much more of a black flag than he was originally established to be it was a bit off here and there
anyways it was a great read def recommended
