The plot flow of this is so messed up, that it feels like the author just wrote down the whole story in bullet points and didn't even try to refine the plot further or fill in any transitions between the points.
This is so amazing... Omg it's incredible, how come I had it in my to read pile for so long without opening it. I'm speechless, I literally don't have words to describe the awesomeness of it after reading, so I'll just have to read it again to properly savor it (≧∀≦)

It's so incredibly amazing considering that they met while Shu was a literal child, but they took everything so slow after meeting again as adults that the feeling line leaves no underlying creepiness. My greatest respect for BWAT for another masterpiece. (づ￣ ³￣)づ

I feel so much for the poor ml, since childhood people around him systematically destroyed any self-esteem he had, so now he has zero confidence or trust in good things happening to him. I cried so much just because it was such a realistic self-hate that i couldn't take it. He really needed gentle and patient person in his life like mc to heal those wounds (even if it was not a lover). Thought I kinda feel a bit meh about him imprinting, in a way, to the first person who showed him unconditional trust and love, before emotionally healing personally.
PS. The author is trying to show that the siblings are good, but, if they care so much, how come they didn't try to defuse the situation whether with parents or at school. Instead the big brother doesn't care when the whole school is shitting on your beloved brother (and it's because of you) and just let it be? And leave him to his only 'friend' when it's so obvious from the body language than ml is super uncomfortable and avoidant of him. I can fucking see it from a couple panels, but the siblings can't in the prob close to 20y they were 'friends'? If they're only shown like pretty good people in ml's fucked up life then I wouldn't say anything, but they are SOOOOOO FAR from being good siblings that it's infuriating.
I was waiting for soooo long for Kou to finally show up as an adult and it's here. I love how Kou and Maki both became adults, while still keeping some of flavor of their teenage yankee roots.
This whole story just felt so warm and comforting. Many realistic works show the pain of irl relationships and make the whole story intense, but this one somehow managed to not sugar coat anything, but still keep it gentle. Have to commend the writer, it's a masterpiece it that aspect.
PS. Would have love to have a novel of them, just to hear more of their inner worlds. (●'◡'●)

I love the mangaka, but just couldn't get into it, most of the premise was kinda mehh to me. Buuuut, if there was a next volume I would totally read it, cause i love them after they got together (=・ω・=)
