i’ve got no one to talk to about this specific issue so i’m gonna rant about it here
chat i’ve got the stupidity of a shoujo protagonist when it comes to romance
i got this ex coworker right. and he’s the prettiest guy i’ve ever seen in my life (and he knows it) and of course he’s a player (he denies this vehemently though)
before he entered the company, we knew each other at a party where we started off at the WRONG foot and pissed each other off so i didnt talk to him for the first three months in the company even though im usually friendly with everyone
anyways we worked in the same team and we’re similarly unhinged so we gradually became closer. i kid you NOT i tried so hard to stop being attracted to him but i can’t. he’s just gorgeous, and the more i knew about him the more i liked him - because despite of how he looks, he’s actually a responsible & hardworking colleague
SO GUESS WHAT I DID? because i didn’t want to get myself hardbroken and i didn’t want to like him anymore, i kept picking fights with him especially around the time that i sensed that we were getting close to each other. and the FUNNY thing is, me picking fight with him was supposed to turn him off but guess what happened? he LIKED it. the little shit likes it
anyways. we ended up sleeping together - it was the most fun ive had in bed. he broke my heart afterwards and i moved to a different country but the fact that i had that webtoon plot going on for a bit there when i least expected it was kind of insane
have you guys ever started picking up a skill because of a manga?
because of at the end of the road i picked up boxing during the pandemic, and now because of my chinese bl i re-ignited my spirit for learning mandarin
no bcs me too, like literally. i've been trying to learn (a)sl in the past, because it has always been very interesting to me, but then i kinda didn’t have time, energy etc etc
recently i've read these (highly recommend)…

Just finished before sunrise & before sunset movies, and suddenly thought - what is the best manga / manhwa with the best character banter in your opinion?
For myself I really like “my bias gets on the last train” and “release your persona”
