Tags are created by us users, not mangago. Some become 'common tag' which many people help tagging. Some are 'personal tag'. There're 2 ways to search..
1 Go to similar theme manga, click tag on the right page.
2 http://www.mangago.me/tag/_ _ Then just random add the tag you want which may be not there.

Theres a guy who is in university. He talks to this person through some sort of a magical paper (?) or like a box (?) How do I get notifications for manga updates? Is it even possible?
You needa have the manga on your "now reading" or "already read" lists. You get updates notifications I think at 3 am every day.
Click on the "now reading" or "already read" button. When there is an update you will get a notification.
yeah , you've gotta click on those. but i don't think you get updates everyday at 3am, its just notifications when they update

^ what they said. The notifications for manga update come all at once, at GMT 11 am (at least mine do). So if a manga is updated at GMT 11:01 am, you have to wait a day to get the notification ┑(￣Д ￣)┍
Yo that forreal sucks. I often end up reading the new manga chapter before I get the notification xD!!
