So I lowkey am not interested in Mokyeon’s backstory, it is sad tho but I don’t see how it will be relevant to the story moving forward maybe it’s the author’s attempt at softening Mokyeon who was a manipulative little shit for the better part of season 1, make him easier to root for kinda reminds me of what they did with Joo Jaekyung in jinx. I can’t wait to see Nanjo tho

The artstyle is good and the bottom is not a broke incompetent that looks like a teenager but nothing is truly perfect as all that is wasted on this lame ass raising your husband trope and making the older one the bottom instead of the top doesn’t make it any less repugnant. I went into this blind and I personally don't mind the cheating trope cuz its literally a very realistic problem but finding out the omega was the beta's dad was crazy. I really wish the alpha and omega had suffered more and faced the consequences of their actions cuz there was literally no accountability on the alpha's path and he got to eat his cake and had it. The omega deserved to have been caught and fired for abuse of his power dynamic over a student, it was so annoying with him working so hard to prove his worth in an alpha dominated field and neglecting his kid that he had as a teenager only to throw it all away for sex with an alpha student and neither of them were held accountable. Writing the beta as a cheater too when its clear he cheated after he noticed the alpha was pulling away doesn't make the alpha any less of a shitty character. I'm lowkey kinda curious about the beta's dad and why his parent's were not together since based on their ages they should have been highschool sweethearts and teenage parents. All in all I didn't hate the story, the plot is unique and the writing is very good and the progression was decent. I liked the unpredictable twists compared to the boring straight forward storyline most BL have. I get why this story gets hate but it isn't worst that the likes of jinx and the plethora of rapey stories everyone eats up, so people need to relax, I'll take a cheating trope over any of this sickening rape apologist stories where characters fall in love with their rapist.
I starting to think Mokwa is either straight as an arrow and trying to talk himself into a relationship with a man or is demisexual but with ways his treatment is Nakwon’s karma, he deserves everything his getting all of mokwa’s nonchalance
The second hand embarrassment I felt after that outburst . What I really like about Nakwon is that he’s quite self aware, he’s full of shit and he knows he is and he calls himself out on it. I’m really enjoying the slow burn and watching Nakwon suffer
I really can’t stand how everyone is calling Mokwa dense, he isn’t at all I think he just doesn’t trust or believe Nakwon and this is justified based on Nakwon’s previous actions and he’s still very coercive and manipulative towards Mokwa. We can see nakwons thoughts so we know what’s going on but to me, Mokwa’s reaction towards Nakwon is the most realistic reaction to your one time tormentor turning into your biggest fan and claiming they love you over night. I blame bl authors cuz they gloss over rape and abuse and skip to them falling in love so much that when someone decides to question it and not instantly fall into the arms of their one time rapist they’re seen as dense for having very valid trust issues. I can’t stand it (╯°Д °)╯╧╧

In reality we all know the consistent yaoi bullshit of miracle penis healing the most traumatic experience and making the most fucked up situations have a happy ending because the top just knows how to lay it down so well is stupid and doesn’t make sense, so maybe in this case the characters can seek illegal therapy and fix themselves and be better partners and parents but I’m good with whatever we get
I was really looking forward to seeing that traitorous bastard get the shit beaten out of him but thank goodness Jin got to Matthew safe, this right here is why I love this manhwa so much, if it was the typical bl we all know how that kidnapping scene would have played out. Let’s normalize bottoms that can defend and save themselves like the adult men they are.

I think I’m dropping this, the plot feels paper thin and the sex scenes between the leads is so dub consensual it’s making me relive some uncomfortable memories and it’s painful to read, I felt like vomiting after the first sex scene; there seems to be a potential for a second couple and I think I’d prefer them hopefully the author does it like “do you still like me” and make it two different manhwas independent of this one because I’ve lost all interest in this manhwa
