Daphne killed herself to go back to her own world. It always happens one month later, so it's probably because of the story's plausibility. Plausibility was specifically mentioned, so I doubt it was random.
Maybe the story is considered "finished," so she can finally kill herself and return. But if there's no soul (Daphne's soul), then the story can't continue to exist. That's why it keeps turning back time. Or maybe Daphne actually can't go back, so the book keeps resetting everything to keep the story alive.
I'm sure I'm just reading way too much into it, but whatev. I have no idea what that "Don't leave me again" shit was tho.

Solid 8 story
The concept is so good. It literally got my toe curling in the first half. It was fucking scary. But the other half is not as good. It's still pretty good but there's so many things that are left hanging and things that I don't like:
1. Unexplained ability;
2. Lack light on mc's killings aftermath, though I understand that he did that to survive. It kinda feels off that it didn't give him like relapse or whatsoever after. I mean 2 deaths by his own hand? In one day— no one night, I would be horrified. It just feels like after hun got convicted everything became normal and that's it.
3. I kinda hate that the other half of the story have a lot of fighting. I didn't know I was here for the action tag lol. It literally lost my toe curling sensation from the first half;
4. That close friend classmate of the mc who we have no news after haha. No shit, no news, no parent and shit. Well let's assume he's a college guy away from home and his parents just thought he was at school. But there should be atleast a mention of him after;
5. The ability did everything for him. All the fighting the thinking and shit. Kinda cool, but I was here for some psychological shit and not some action cool shit;
6. Why did the first half made it seem like MC had a contract with him? Saying 'you said you wouldn't do this and stuff'. Then later became the one who initiated fights and shit. Just kinda... y'know;
7. Lastly, No MC and Yerin backstory :<, and afterstory :<. I love Yerin so much, a very pure hearted human being.
I wouldn't want season 2, I feel like if there is s2 it would focus more on the ability and backstories and shit. So yeah 8, after all everything was in place, all the characters have depth, and I love Yerin. The ones I mentioned are mishaps and specific details and really doesn't affect the reading experience much if you're not the type to stress out every detail. Please correct me if I'm the one who had the mishap though. Hehe, that's all.
