the reason he waited 12 years is bc mc never actually transmigrated into a novel! the whole time the ml had actually gone back in time and the mc had gone back into his time but he thought it was the novel. so thts y theres still “characters” tht mc thinks was from the novel in the “real world”

I’m confused, so they both traveled back in time but they still need to wait 12 years? Wdym the mc had gone back into “his time”? Like the ML’s time??

so ml went back in time and mc went back into time w him but only for a short while until he has traveled back into original time and the reason the ml waits 12 years is bc he had to completely live those years he went back into time he never travels back into his “own time” so to speak while mc does get to travel back
so yes mc does travel in ml time but believes he’s in a novel

Yeah it doesn't actually answer the "12 years" question, but yeah the MC and the ML were transmigrated into the time where the ML was still in high school. Thing is, the MC doesn't know this and instead thinks it's the world of the novel he was holding.

My guess is that the book the MC was holding, but dropped, was probably written by the ML or based off of him somehow. I don't read the novel, so I'm guessing. As for why it took 12 years, I think it's because the MC had to live out those years in real time because there was no other way to come back to his original time.

OHH I UNDERSTANDDD I KNEW I WAS MISSING SOMETHING thank you so much!! So basically the mc and ml travel back to ml’s time, then Jaewon got transmitted back to his original time leaving Dojeon alone for 12 years until they reunited right?? Dojeon changed his past by making friends with Jaewon, so that’s why Matcha is there as well with the other friends, correct? I’m still a bit confused on what the book was about, whether it was about Dojeon and how Jaewon realized he was not actually in a novel. This explanation cleared up a lot of confusion, thank you!

I DONT REMEMBERRRR i think it was in the range of 50-60 but I just restarted to get a glimpse of the few things missed (￣▽￣)

Because it's not totally focused on the lovebirds I guess? Idk

The first two seasons felt like a labor of love, while the 3rd feels like "we're doing this because it needs to get done" lol It seems rushed -- the art is less detailed and like less thought was put into it --first 2 seasons make use of a lot of different art techniques including color psychology and focused very intentionally on making the character's expressive, you won't see this as much in S3. New character designs are pretty basic, and the new characters themselves are cookie-cutter and not given as much depth. Even the story and dialogue feels flat and low stakes. It's not "bad", compared to a lot of other generic webtoons out there. But it's almost like a completely different (less skilled) team worked on it. It's weird to have the final season be the most "amateur". Honestly they would have been better off calling these chapters "extras" or just making it it's own spinoff.

I think this is the story for you if you want to get mad or sad lol! It has a lot of moments where I wanted to jump in the story and punch some characters in the face! And tbh I would’ve dropped it a while ago if I wasn’t so deep into the story as I am. If you do continue it.. have fun lmao
