random untranslated words
i was reading some manhwa and remembered how sometimes translators would just like not translate some words, like saying "gomen" instead of just fully translating it

I keep seeing ai generated images in ny conics/novels, its super disorienting when i see a scanlation group/translator using ai as a book cover, or for their signature images.
like i fr thought we were all on the same page abt this stuff (against it), idk its just strange to see other creatives using it when they can no doubt find actual pieces ma...... reply
it's def not the best, and people calming it is are dead wrong, but like someone else said it's like marvel(and everyone loves to clown it for good reason). it's just cool enough and super easy to get into, which is prob why it's so popular, just some filler

usually i just go back and look through my notes on whatever the exam is about, and if the teacher gives us a study guid or something do that. but usually i just thug it out and raw dog the exam reply

i read a lot of apocalypse manwha and stuff, and one thing that always lowkey pisses me off is female characters wearing shorts shorts(or really jst shorts) or tank tops(way less egregious imo)
cuz like all the guy characters are wearing actual protective/ battle ready clothes and armor, then the female character is just wearing shorts, and a regular outfit??? like come on
the subtle misogyny in things, once you notice smth you can never stop(￣∇￣")
okay so i've been seeing a lot more ai generated bullshit in the beginning of chapters, like you know how translators have their litter card or whatever to tell everyone who they are, or to promote a website or whatever?
i've said before how annoying it is to have to scroll through a massive page of this, but it's so much worse now because people have started not using actual comic pages, but AI generated stuff!
i could handle it before, but i just can't understand how somehow working with actual art could support ai generated stuff like that

I have a few, like when translators keep adding their own comments under panels or just in the comic, or when translators add a bunch of images after or before the actual comic, or or when they explain a common word but then don't explain another very specific word
generally just when translators add a bunch of stuff not really relating to the actual comic or whatever im reading. im sorry but im here to read the story, not watch as the translator tries to be funny or whatever..
