This is up to date with raws… but it’s based off a novel. It will be revealed pretty soon that Josh is an omega. Chase overhears the talk about Josh waiting for Pete’s “mother,” sort of connects the dots and realises that Josh gave birth, but he doesn’t realise it was by him, thinks a diff alpha impregnated Josh. The problem is Chase actually has really low self esteem, so he doesn’t ask Josh about it or confront him for fear his assumption is true and Josh will leave him. Instead, his depression spirals and he nearly does smth silly because of his assumptions and love for Josh.
It’s only then that Josh actually realises Chase has this misunderstanding (Josh had been putting off telling Chase about Pete because it was hard to bring up/timing is weird/film schedule is busy/things were a bit up in the air after it was revealed that Josh was an omega etc etc). Josh still doesn’t tell Chase right away that he is Pete’s biological dad, but he does tell Chase that the omega he slept with a couple years ago was in fact him- not a dog, and he reassures Chase that he’s not actually waiting for another lover and sets up a meeting between Chase and Pete (to test the waters). After things go well between them/they bond, THEN he finally reveals the truth and series basically ends there. Which is very unfortunate, we never get to see them be a family unit, but through their cameos in the author’s other works, we do learn that they have two more kids (so three in total- 2 boys and 1 girl) and it’s implied that Chase is the more emotionally attuned, stay-at-home parent which I think is very sweet considering all Chase went through as a kid.

Im.not like defending anyone here. Let's be honest jjk doesn't understand what's going on with his emotions. The only emotions this man knows and understands would be anger and betrayal. He doesn't get that the feeling he feels towards dan are fear and (dare I say it ) love. His father's abusive and his mother is dead. He's never felt love from anyone (minus his gym coach ) but hes literally the exact same person as Jjk.so it feels more so respect sorta. Love is something hes never felt or known since he was young. So he doesn't understand how to show the sadness and it automatically goes to anger because he just doesn't understand.
On the other hand. Poor baby dan is traumatized from jjk so he just wants to get out because he feels like hes nothing but a burden. Dan's felt like a burden all his life and its juts gotten worse with jjk. But dan doesn't understand what jjk feels because he doesn't understand his own feelings (jjk) So dan just wants to leave because hes "a burden" "unwanted " and hes afraid because hes love jjk before and he got hurt and now jjk was being nicer to him so it scared him into leaving sooner.

What if it wasn't the dog but it was actually Joshua. Didn't Joshua say he didn't used to be afraid of dogs. Maybe he didnt know that it was actually an omega that he slept with aka josh. So guys dont be to worried about the dog situation. Totally different note his brother fucking sucks and he needs help or death.

It was with josh, but grayson lied that chase did it with the dog that's why he has ptsd. And also because its his first time sleeping with someone (josh took his virginity)
Yall just clarifying: that night he didnt fuck the dog NOR JOSHUA. What happened was chase refused to release his pheromones or have sex which lead to him having a rut, his brother did bring the dog with that purpose but chase passed out before anything happened. He was a teenager at the time. After that, because he couldnt remember, his brother used this event as a way to blackmail him into going to those sex parties. Still he would fuck no one, they would only take him and he would pass out and they would remove his built up pheromones manually. What happened with josh was a different situation. It was actually his first time. So at the end of the day he has only ever been with one person in bed which is josh, which is why he is so inexperienced compared to josh.
I read the novel so this is legit information btw. Hope it clarifies some things
