I just found out that the novel finally has an official English translation (I'm over the moon!) but I've heard about the westernisation of it, like Kim Dokja becoming Dokja Kim (like who tf is that).
I mean I get it and it's not too bad of a change.
But I've also heard about dokkaebi translated into goblin? That for me is throwing me off buying it slightly. It would just disrupt the reading experience if I were to stop every few pages trying to figure what the new term means. Especially when there are actually goblins in ORV, so won't the terms clash with each other?
I'm only on here cause I've really nowhere else to ask, is there any other egregious translations or perhaps changes?
I can pass hyung for brother (never bro, istg if I see bro in the book I'll pass out) and the honorifics changing to Miss and Mr, cause yeah ig since it's the English translation.
Like Tears on a Withered Flower, The Shape of Us, and The Prince Doesn’t Cry From Mere Onions they've all got special art for the title card. I just wanna see more stories with that cause I just like to sit for a bit and admire the art, plus it makes the reading experience better imo.
Special/altered title cards are also fun, makes it more immersive.

In a moment of grave danger for his boyfriend, the fish is the only one who can save him but for that he has to run with the fish head form in the middle of the night and obviously he was seeing by people (≧∀≦)

Any fantasy romance recs where they're in school? I just read "The butterfly that swallowed fog" and I realised that I haven't really seen much of this settings
MC is a guy, unkept black hair, eyebags, lanky. Genre is action, it's one of those game manifested into reality (?) or world suddenly becoming a game. There are sponsors if I remember correctly, there is this clown one that follows MC around. MC also gets a crow themed power up I believe. I also remember there being a girl next to him with long black hair and bangs (not a loli). MC definitely had a arc or a few chapters where he had to fight a boss in a circus/amusement park.
Think there was safe zones, but MC just went off and did his own thing.
I also believe that he had like this special access to the sponsors group chat where he remains anonymous and listens in on them, purple theme for this.
There was also a bit where they were fighting a dragon (like an eastern dragon, those longggg ones) in a skyscraper building and MC defeated it and broke through all the floors (I swear it's from this story)
Art style isn't like the conventional style, rough looking and stylised (best I can describe it)
