i think it kinda makes sense for heeseong? he’s insecure that the only reason chi-young started to like him was for his cute puppy traits that walnut seems to possess. and when he sees that some of the attention that’s normally his is being directed to the new addition, he feels a sense of defeat and fear. he wants to avoid being replaced like some used toy im guessing.
