If the author really removed their BL works from their twitter, it looks like to me, they are trying to hit mainstream by removing the subtle queer coding in the characters for the sake of it... Which feels pretty annoying to me that some authors would use queer coding in the characters initially to gain attention but then remove them to be palatable to the general audience. I wasn't expecting full blown queer romance here, but I appreciated the subtle queer coding in the characters. Truly a shame that the author had to come out and "clarify" a supposed assumption of the fandom.

What is this art style? It looks so GOOD. It looks like a shounen manga. I am so excited for this. The art and the designs are immaculate and a yaoi horror is a very interesting concept. I just hope they don't ruin this by making the apparition a permanent thing in MC's body and he gets his body back properly.
I think the way Yiseon's trauma was handle, would have been perfect for a psychological, drama manhwa. But I feel like this being an action, fantasy and super power manhwa, kind of conflicted with how Yiseon's character was handled. Half the time he wasn't able to do much and was being constantly pushed around by antagonists who wanted to use him against Hyeon.
At some point or the other, his past trauma also felt like a plot device to move the plot forward than being a legitimate issue for Yiseon's character to deal with and overcome. He became a political tool to be pushed around. He would have felt much more grounded and realistic if it was on the backdrop of a psychological and drama based story, instead of being surrounded by over powered espers.
I kinda disagree, because i think the author is handling Yiseon's trauma quite well.
I think it's quite fair for his trauma to be a plot device, it was foreshadowed a LOT in the ealiest chapters. He's adamant on taking his own life and was centered around his past trauma.
It was a realistic portrayal of people who suffered PTSD and survivor guilt.
The constant fight and flight condition is well timed.

The last monologue should have been about Mizuki apologizing to Sakura. Not the other way around. I don't understand why Sakura needed to apologize to Mizuki for distancing himself from Sakura to protect himself. There is nothing wrong with prioritizing yourself sometimes. Mizuki's sudden realization of feelings for Sakura also seemed pretty forced. It's like they had to end up with each other, so the author suddenly made Mizuki fall in love with Sakura without any proper build up towards it.
People are defending Mizuki by saying how he was starving and he only ever had semen his whole life, but you have to remember how he LIED to his BF that he was at the end of his rope. He could have at least talked to his BF that he was starving and needed to eat. Instead of communicating with his boyfriend, he decided to go out and suck another dude's dick in SECRET.
That definitely counts as cheating, no matter how much people want to sugar coat that. He could have talked to Sakura and found a solution. But his first instinct was to go out and suck another guy's dick. Plus, he only stopped because that dude's semen tasted bad. Would he have stopped if the dude's semen tasted better than Sakura's? Honestly, bad writing all around. The plot was super inconsistent and frustrating to read.
