The Man Who Can't Taste
Koi ga Ochitara
The. passion. is. everything !!! The sex scenes were drawn with so much passion I was sucked into the manga only to end up disappointed because its last update on the site was 2021 I don’t think I really have any comments regarding the plot, honestly the ridiculous way they met gives the manga its charm.
Hosaka-San to Miyoshi-Kun
This is a spin-off of a side “couple” from Jackass. Couple is in quotation marks because it didn’t really explicitly portray the two of them having any romantic relations at all by the end of the manga, just some minimal flirting going on on the side.
First thing I’m definitely gonna say is that the age gap is too big. I’m a huge believer in age is just a number until that number has barely even turned legal and is susceptible to grooming, 19 year old Miyoshi with Hosaka that’s pushing 40 Aside from the age gap, ofc the stalking and spying on Hosaka through his pc is already fucked up but Scarlet Beriko romanticizes it to the bone by making it the reason for Miyoshi feeling a deeper connection with Hosaka, working on his confidence, and knowing that Hosaka really really loves him. The stalker behavior is evident in another one of her works as well as far as I’m concerned. Anyway this just wasn’t it. If everything was reached by normal means though, I’m sure the romantic scenes would have hit and that’s the only reason it has 2 stars.
Smoke Blue no Ame Nochi Hare
Bl manga (more specifically japanese ones though) with older men really have a mature (?) and superior connection and affinity towards each other which makes their story seem so rich, tender, and realistic all at the same time. The manga’s pacing is very good and you really could feel that the author put some excellent thought and care into telling their story and not just making it about sexual relations between two men. This needs more updates.
